Disgusting Experience Buyer Beware!–No Customer Satisfaction from this Company

From my dealings with Wirefly, I can only conclude that they're run by crooks. I ordered phones and service and then had to cancel. I canceled in a timely fashion and returned the equipment using their RMA. It took more than a month for them to log the returned phones back into their system. This took approximately 3 weeks longer than a similar RMA mailed on exactly the same day at the same time to a slightly different location. They now refuse to honor their end of the bargain and return my money. It's pure theft. I am now proceeding to reclaim my money through other channels. They absolutely misrepresented almost everything except the sales end. Customer service consists of talking to human robots in India it's total gibberish--their motto should be: "We have your money, tough, luck sucker!" The fact they continue in business is an outrage. Remember: "100% Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed" is a lie.
Wirefly is a front for Inphonic. From shopping online for years with a positive experience, this service is the worse I've ever had. I suspect any positive review posted about this company are most likely from shills.

Beware! Many consumers have suffered Wirefly rebate fraud!

I received the phone (V710 - $300) and free accessories in a timely fashion. Phone service (Verizon) is fine. My problem is with Wirefly's rebate system. I mailed in the 2 $150 rebates 10 weeks ago at the beginning of the 30 day rebate window. I followed the ridiculously stringent rebate instructions meticulously and made copies of everything I sent. Yet when I log on at www.rebate-zone.com/wireless, the system cannot find my claim. I will try to contact the rebate department regarding my claim, but based on others' reports, I am now fully expecting to join the ranks of the ripped off. In preparation for this, I am watching for a class action suit against Wirefly, and I am researching how to pursue my rebate in small claims court. I am usually quite cautious about my Internet purchases and rebates, and I never had a problem before. I guess I did not do my homework this time, or else I would have found all the rip off reports at http://www.ripoffreport.com/search.asp and all the bad epinions at epinions.com. *Sigh*

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT DO IT... night mare with the rebates. I've been waiting over 6 months since my submission for two $200 rebates. There were an error with their system and I've been told to check back periodically on-line and phone calls. Today they made changes to the on-line system and I was no longer able to check the status of my rebates. The number I had no longer works. I've emailed the customer service on-line and got a generic email telling me to wait another 8 to 10 weeks. Thus the reason Im posting this and hope that no one will follow in my mistake. I think Im out $400. Unless I hear back from someone my opinion stands as of 7/18/06.
My next step is to contact the better business bureau regarding this matter.

10 out of 10 service. Quick delivery. Quick Response. Only one problem: they gave me phone numbers such phone numbers that any superstitious person would have no choice but to change it. The trick is you pay $15 per each phone line for changing. I asked to reveal the phone numbers for me, but they declined. So I ended up paying $30 to ask another number. They give you number with 13s, 9s, 4s, and stuff. I wish they had given me a chance to know the number ahead at the least.

there so many things I'd like to say about your customer service agents, however I will describe it in one word they are great from checking on my order up to the delivery date and all simple questions I asked them, they do not say no or can not do it.

I received my phones quickly and everything was fine until it came time for the rebate. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD . There will be excuses and technicalities but no rebate. Inquire about their rep and you will see the deal is not good if you don't get the rebate and you won't.BEWARE

Got scammed. They asked me to send in all rebate information postmarked 180-210 days after purchased. I did. Every time I contacted them (not an easy proposition) they kept promising the rebate and then later after making me wait 8 weeks saying their was a reason for not honoring the rebate.
When you contact them they send you to a different center, promise to correct issues but never do, ask you to resubmit materials and then make you wait, send you notices that don't reflect the issues they claim to deny your claim... the list goes on.
Don't expect a rebate from this company. They do everything they can to deny a claim and will try to discourage you from pursuing legitimate claims with delay tactics and incompetence. This is a dishonorable business model.

This company has probably the worst ratings on the net. On another rating site, they are less than 1 our of 10! If you buy from them, you'd better be prepared for a long battle and get used to NOT having promises kept, i.e., web site says, "satisfaction guaranteed." NOT EVEN CLOSE! They are now promising to not send ANY of the $500 in promised rebates for my "free phones."

And apparently they have their own money system too. Price quoted appeared to be in US dollars but somehow the price may have been in a foreign denomination?! The price increased daily and they couldn't explain why. It's a shame that many major carriers stoop to their level by working with them.
Please do yourself a favor and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

You wont get your rebates! Bad customer service

The primary reason I purchased a cellphone from Wirefly.com was to get a good deal. They had an excellent plan with 100% back with rebates on Moto Razrs.
The rebate form is extremely confusing since you have to submit the form within 180-210 days after buying the phone and they want copies of the phone bills between 150-210 days after you start service. I am unsure about how to put the bill for the last month without being late in submitting the application.
I somehow printed the bills online and submitted my application. I received a mail from those guys 3 months after the submission stating that I am not eligible for a rebate because I havent submitted the receipts. They dont give you the customer service number and you get the same mail everytime you send them an e-mail.
I may be one of the few people who has had this bad an experience. But if I were you I would go and buy from one of the dependable sellers like Amazon.com, letstalk,... and get my money back rather than risking it with these guys.

purchased 2 phones one did not work brand new phone and would not stay on tried calling talk to a very rude gal who gave me a # to call I told her if I was unable to speak to someone I would be calling back her response to me "whatever" I said EXCUSE ME? she said thats fine how rude this experience has not been good it was horrible and could not get anyone to help me I will not suggest you to anyone quite the opposite I don't think you care about your customers if so things would of been handled differently

The website is comprehensive and easy to use. After placing the order, the customer service does not exist. Was on hold for over 2 hours 2 different times. Could never connect to online cusomer service. Shipping for most items was 1 day later than expected. 1 item still not shipped after 2 weeks. Mishandled service change over so I was without cell service while the new phones were shipped.

I have problems with the phone that i orderd and was sent the wrong stylus that was missing. they just sent me any old stylus they could get their hands on. i send an email regarding the problem. i have until the 28th to send back the phone and i may have to send it back just to get the right equipment for the phone. as well the battery will not keep a charge. i turned off everything except the phone no vibration etc. it wont stay charged for more than 1 1/2 hours. i know this may be an isolated occurance but i need the problem solved. i went to a sprint store and they will not help me with the problem items because i purchaed the phone from your company. (but i may still buy a phone for my other line at sprint because your prices are so much better than the sprint store and i don't have to deal with rebates.
