Didn't have item in stock though website said they did. Not as mean as others experience but somewhat unpleasant.

When i called to confirm my order, he asked if i wanted to buy a memorycard or battery for the camera. I politely refused, to which he said ok. He didn't try to pressure me like others claim. He went to check the stock, and said it would take a couple weeks, but that he could cancel my order right away. Went very smooth, just i didn't get to order the camera. My order has been taken of my account on their website, but i haven't been confirmed with an email or anything.

Reading these reviews is what got me worried the most. I missed them before i actually ordered. Now I'm afraid they are going to steal my CC info and do something with it. Overall nothing bad has happened yet.....

Stay away from this store. A few days after you place your order they email you that you need to call to verify information about your order. They use this as an way to give you a hard sell on all sorts of accessories. If you don't buy they wait a few more days and tell you the item is out of stock and may be in about 5-6 weeks and then give you an opportunity to cancel. I opted for cancellation because it seemed unlikely they were ever going to ship the camera.

Con artist. Avoid at all cost. Very bad experience, terrible customer service, clearly a con. Legal action would likely prevail if someone took action.

My order for a Sony digital camera was placed online with Wisetronics, but Wisetronics sent an e-mail requesting additional information regarding my credit card. I returned the call only to face a barrage of reasons why I should purchase more memory, extended warranty coverage. The guy talking called me by the wrong name repeatedly and when I corrected him, he just said, "Whatever". Very rude, to say the least.

Wisetronics notified me that the carrying case I ordered was placed in back-order status. I never heard anything more about it until I made inquiry. To their credit, Wisetronics agreed to send the next higher version at the same price of the back-ordered item. I haven't received it yet since it has been only a couple of days.

WARNING!!!! They draw you in by listing great price, try to up-sell you, and if you do not bite, then you will get notice that your product is back ordered 2-3 weeks.

See previous reviews. This company advertises at very low costs, but fails to deliver. I had the same experience as earlier users (my fault for not checking the reviews). Ordered a camera, was told to call, waited on hold for 15 minutes. Then several weeks later when the item did not arrive, I checked with customer service and they informed me that the item was back-ordered. They never bothered to notify me that it was back-ordered. I have cancelled the order. Steer clear of these guys.

We purchased a Kodak Easyshare DX7590 on-line. A sales rep called us at home a couple of days later and used high pressure sales to get us to purchase a 256 memory card ($59.99) and a case ($19.99) for our digital camera. We received our shipment and discovered the camera would not fit in the case. I called customer service and they claimed it was the proper case. I explained I couldn't even force the camera in the case and they said they would send me a larger case but, I would have to pay an additional $30. They would not refund my money. Be aware of improper sales schemes.

If I had to describe, in a word, my first experience with Wisetronics, it would simply be "OUTSTANDING!" I called a few days before my son's jr.high superbowl game to order a new camera and the salesman told me about a special that allowed me a better price on accessories AND a free shipping upgrade! Their shop closed in 10 minutes, and he still got it out overnight express. It was on my doorstep the next day! It's a wonderful camera and the service I received was exemplary! My first experience with Wisetronics will be the first of many more to come!

I got a Panasonic Lumix FZ30. Great camera great price. I had to call to confirm the order, then they try to sell me $450 hundred more Dlls. It is ok if you don't need the stuff you just say no thanks, the guy was very patient and kind, he cleared up all my doubts.
Just one thing. I usually buy stuff online and I when they say "shipping 3,5,7 days" that means you place you order, you get a confirmation the same or next day and then you get it in 3,5,7 days. So just when I was expecting to get it I got an email that they just shipped it!!!!. It took them 5 days to get all together and mail it.
I got it on time and everything is ok until now, just felt a little frustrated about this issue.
I will highly recommend this site to buy stuff but not if you are in a hurry.

My experience mirrors all the others described in this forum.
They called to 'confirm my order' and tried to sell me an over-priced battery claiming the camera I ordered doesn't include one (it in fact does). When I stated I already owned a battery from my other camera that will work just fine he claimed it wouldn't (it will). The battery he tried to sell was a $50 battery he tried to sell for $160!!! When I declined he told me "well you can just cancel". I told him yes I would like to cancel and he said "good day" then proceeded to hang up on me. I am now thinking I might need to have my credit card reset to a new number just to be safe.

I ordered a camera and lens that was listed in stock and continues to be listed in stock even today. I was skepticl so I called and spoke with a sales rep who assured me they had the camera. short story is the camera never arrived and when I called to find out why I was told it was on back order and would be there in 2 weeks. Two weeks later no camera. I called them, was on hold for over thirty minutes, told them of their internet ratings and and that this felt like a scam. The sales rep calmly said he would speak to the supervisor, but like everyone else I cancelled the fictitious order. I guess I will buy my camera the old fashioned way, drive to teh store to buy it, Dont use this company it is a lie,

terrible, had to deal with the same "call to verify your order", 30 minutes on hold, got the same upsale scam, refused it. got confusing information from the person i spoke with about shipping and order cost. cancelled my credit card. these guys really should be shut down, and www.lowpricedigital.com should stop listing them.

I got an email asked me to call to verify after 2 days I placed an order with them. I call in and waited more than 15 minutes. The salesperson says my order got cancelled because is out of stock. I said it is in stock when I place my order and I check their website while I'm speaking with him. The website said it is in stock. The salesperson says "No, is out of stock." I said, "wasted my time". Then he starts to get rude. I try to ask him to apologize what his said. But he keeps saying bad words and won't let me speak to his manager nor have his name. I end up hang up the phone because he keeps continues cursing. These people are the scum that grows on the bottom of slime. This was the worst online experience of my life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

I will never order from these people again. They make you call to verify your order but it is only to try to get you to purchase some more cheap stuff at high prices. If you decline your delivery goes from 3 days to 12 BUSINESS days. I found the same item they wanted $250 for but would give me for $100 for $40 elsewhere. I canceled my order and contacted my credit card company to refuse any transactions.

They have the lowest prices for a reason. After returning their calls to confirm my order I was told it would arrive in 2 weeks. Three weeks later I called to ask why I hadn't received the camera, they were closed for a 4 day vacation. When I called back the following week there was a 19 minute hold time to talk to someone. I never got through. When I finally reached someone (they're only open 11-5 est M-Th and 11-2 est F) they told me that it was on back order and would probably arrive in a couple of weeks. By the time that I receive my camera I will have waited more than a month and a half.
