I thought the website was excellent: it was very fast and very easy to place the order. I particularly liked the ability to add window sizes and the site would calculate everything and build the custom order.

The delivery speed was good and I liked the fact that I received regular emails on the progress of the order. When the blinds arrived, the packaging was good so the blinds were in perfect condition, and the installation instructions were very helpful. I also thought the quality of the product was much higher than I expected and visitors to my apartment have often commented on the blinds positively.

Overall, I would recommend your site to anyone I know buying blinds. Your company is proof that Internet businesses can not only function as well as 'real' businesses, but can save time, provide a first-class product and save money.

My father, a retired interior designer, searched the web for window blinds for my family's new home. After quoting with you and one other company, we ordered one blind from the other company, as their price was lower. Since we were not entirely happy with the quality or color of that "generic" blind, we looked back to you. Since you sold Hunter Douglas, we requested a sample and placed our order based on our satisfaction with the color and quality. After I corrected one blind size due to YourBlinds.com feeling I may have communicated it wrong (which I did), the blinds arrived faster than we expected. The quality is Hunter Douglas, the price was less than we quoted locally, and I expect the service was faster as well. The Customer Service we received from YourBlinds.com was exceptional; not at all what we expected from an online vendor. We get compliments on our blinds every time we have visitors and have already sung your praises to friends. We plan to "blind" our second floor in the spring, and of course we will purchase again from YourBlinds.com.

Great customer service. My order was processed immediately and received within a few days. A couple of the valance end caps were cracked. When I notified YourBlinds.com, they immediately processed a replacement order, and I had the replacements within a few days. Throughout the process, I was constantly kept advised of the status of orders and shipments by email.

This contrasted sharply with a previous experience with a similar blinds order that I placed with decora-homes.com, which arrived with a part missing. Decora-homes.com never responded to any of my emails or phone messages (left on their answering machine, which was always on no matter when I called), or even to attempts by the manufacturer to reach them on my behalf.

After spending 2 hours with a "window blind expert" in a chain discount home improvement store, we thought there must be a better way to order blinds. We found www.yourblinds.com, ordered samples, followed their instructions for measuring and ordered new blinds for our office. The blinds fit, look and work so well that we have just placed the order for the great room and kitchen ..... and will be ordering the rest of the house soon. Very happy with experience at Yourblinds.com. I did all my research and shopping online using several websites. Yourblinds was the quickest to ship out samples and had the best price overall. They were also the only company with consistent reviews on Bitrate and Epinions.

I ordered on a Monday (which was a holiday) and product arrived via UPS Ground shipping the very next Monday. Very impressed with speed of shipment. Also free shipping was nice especially since packages together weighed over 70 pounds. Items were very well packed and in perfect condition.

My only concern was the website did not have updated instructions for my product. Took me a little longer than I wanted to figure things out, but I cant blame them too much for that.

I will recommend this site to anyone needing blinds. Thanks

We were not happy with the customer service after one of our new blinds would not close properly. We contacted YourBlinds who told us to ship the blind back with specific instructions. We followed the instructions, but somehow, the blind was lost. WE are now expected to pay for the blind to be re-made. YourBlinds will NOT cover the cost of the re-make for this blind. Be warned, do not ship your blind back for repair!

The website informed me of proper measuring procedures for specific products and I was kept informed, at all times, of the status of my order. I received my order as promised. I ordered 5 cellular shades for approximately $1,100. Two of the shades were broken upon delivery. Now I'm waiting for YourBlinds and UPS to fight it out as to who is responsible. It was obviously a packaging problem and not shipping as the broken parts were inside the shade mechanism. I have been trying for days to contact YourBlinds, but they will not return a phone call or email. Next time I will go locally.

I ordered a whole house of Hunter Douglas 2" faux wood blinds (24 total) on 2 May 05. I received an email notice from YourBlinds.com stating my order would be shipped on 9 May 05; I received my blinds on 11 May 05...super fast service! However, 1 blind was damaged in shipment and I was worried I would have problems with the return/reorder process...not so! I just went online and completed the "problem with blind received" form. The next day YourBlinds.com sent me an email stating my new blinds would be shipped on 20 May 05 and to hold on to the damaged blinds, as the carrier has the right to inspect the damaged blinds for 60 days; after 60 days I can throw out the old blinds. I received my reordered blind on 23 May 05. Where else can you get this kind of prompt, accurate, and reliable customer service? Oh, and by the way, I also saved approximately $1,000 compared to other retailers for the same blinds. I'm sold on YourBlinds.com and have been referring them to all my friends and would refer them to anyone wanting to get great customer service while saving big bucks!

My entire experience with YourBlinds.com has been WONDERFUL!! Their customer service is extremely responsive. My blinds were shipped when they said they would be. i love my new blinds, and was extremely satisfied with the help i received from Tracy and the staff at YourBlinds.com. i had originally ordered blinds that had a motorized tilt but did not need the remote. two days later i was informed the remote must be ordered with it. the web site however did not specify that, and would have brought the price up considerably. I shopped localing at all the retail shops for solar shades for 5 extra large picture windows in my new house. I priced these identical blinds at JcPennys, American Blinds, 3-Day blinds and had Costco come out and give me a bid. I saved about 45% over the lowest quoted price by buying through Your Blinds. I am completely happy with the customer service. I had one blind show up which was damaged from a staple that pierced the shipping box. Customer service was quick to resolve this problem.

I thoroughly searched on-line for a reputable company that could closely match our 10 year old shades. The info on your website is detailed and accurate. I measured carefully and placed the order. I received e-mail confirmation and shipping status. Now here's the pleasure - I received an e-mail shipping status check that the order would arrive in a few days - the same day the order arrived. Very prompt shipping. The shades were as ordered although I'm having problems with one in that the internal cord is getting caught and the shade will not lower. I need more details to correct it in-field. Comfortex has agreed to take it back for free repairs. Can you assist with a detailed repair diagram?

Customer service was helpful initially in directing me to a subset of products that would meet my needs. The online order was accurately filled. However when the blinds arrived, there was a manufacturing defect in 4 out of 5 of them. Customer service was once again helpful in working with the manufacturer to arrange replacements. I dealt with two different customer service reps over the course of my order, and they were both very nice and quite helpful. The replacement blinds are just perfect!

Initial order was prompt, blinds arrived in good repair, hung easily, however, I was not happy with something about them but couldn't figure out what was wrong. It took my several months to realize that the slats didn't meet at the center (two blinds one headrail) and some of the slats were bowed. I contacted YOURBLINDS and even though it was several months later, they sent me a box in which to package, had UPS pick up the blinds, and promptly repaired them for me. I ordered some sample swatches from Yourblinds and got them them pretty quick.  I found it quite helpful.  Other than that, it was easy to follow the directions and measure for my blinds.   Although it said it can take up to 4 weeks to ship I received my blinds within 2 weeks and they arrived in perfect condition and were exactly what I ordered.  Very good quality, I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

I have made several previous purchases and was pleased with the quality (Hunter Douglas cellular shades), service, and delivery time. However, with my most recent inquiry, I found the same product for a lower price at five different online stores, with the same warranty, etc. When I contacted YourBlinds.com regarding the lower prices and their "discount" of 2%, their response was "Thank you for the update. Maybe we can help you with future purchases." No offer to meet the price or even ask what the lower price was. I guess they don't need the business.

Purchasing anything that is custom order can be tricky
over internet, and I had to think really hard to see if I wanted to do this, but I went ahead and did it anyway.
The sales person who helped me (Linda/Tracy) was both very
helpful, and was very patient in working with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. They also helped me with choosing the colors that I wanted. When the merchandise got to me, I was very satisfied with the quality of it.

I would definitely recommend this vendor.
It's really 3 things, that will make them recommend them highly. 1) quality 2) service 3) price. All of the three criteria must work together to make a repeat customer indeed.

I saved a lot of money buying over real store.
I think I got better service from yourblinds.com than if I went shopping in a real store!

Installation was easy too. Only because the quality is good, and the things fits, and it works.
I did it myself.

Delivery came in very reasonable time, and was in good packing. came with bubble wraps and then in box.

I was almost about to order some roman shades from Smith+Noble but then I read all their horrible reviews, so I started to look for other companies that sold shades and blinds. I read great reviews about yourblinds.com and decided to give them a chance. The Hunter Douglas roman shades that I ordered arrived exactly one week after I placed my order! I was amazed because the estimated ship date was for after I received the blinds. The custom shades fit perfectly on my window. I highly recommend them to anybody looking to buy blinds/shades online.

Yourblinds.com continues to pelt me with a barrage of email spam after my purchase. Repeated attempts to have myself removed from their mailing lists have been ignored and I'm still being spammed on a regular basis.

This company has proven themselves to be a great big pain in the a$$, and I will never ever purchase from them again.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Poor Quality, and horrible customer service!

I have never dealt with such an incompetent group of people. I received my sheer vertical blinds (about $1500 worth of merchandise) about 4 months ago. I paid extra to have room darkening blinds. When they arrived they were not room darkening, there were 2 inch gaps between the verticals. Weeks of "well try this" or "did you try that" went on. I took pictures and emailed it to the company. Long story short, 3 months later I finally get them to agree to credit my account. The send me call tags and I shipped the product back to them. Now it has been over 1 month that they have had the blinds back but have not issued me a credit yet. You cannot get anyone on the phone, you either get put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time or you get disconnected. Long story short...do not do business with this company. Great prices, yes, but poor quality products and HORRIBLE customer service. It's not worth the aggravation!

In shopping on-line for cellular shades, I considered many different web sites. I wouldn't have purchased from YourBlinds.com had they not offered the best combination of site functionality, price, and ease of ordering. After I ordered, customer service was initially very good--I received confirmation of my order and notice that the shades were being made. But there was a period of some weeks after that when I didn't know when to expect my order; just when I was thinking about contacting the company, the shades arrived. We did get one shade that was not made to the measurements we requested, but we've gotten excellent customer service in getting a replacement and are waiting for its arrival.

I had my first shopping experience at YourBlinds.com recently, and was very impressed. The product selection was extensive, and the website was very informative and complete. I have never ordered custom blinds before, but it was a real breeze. I checked with several competitors and found the prices at YourBlinds were good. The order process was quick and easy. I received an automated order confirmation immediately. About a day later I received an email with an estimated ship date. Then I received an email confirmation with tracking number as soon as it shipped (which was 2 days earlier than anticipated). I was very impressed with the speed, as I ordered on Monday, and received my custom blinds on Friday of the same week! Very good experience. I will be ordering a few more sets shortly.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with YourBlinds. The lady I've dealt with on the telephone has been very friendly, helpful, and diligent. I had a question about the color I ordered and she immediately got the information and called me back. When the blinds arrived, some parts were missing for the valance. I called and she said she'd take care of it right away. She called me back in just a few minutes to let me know what she had done and what I could expect. I will definitely recommend YourBlinds - either ordering by internet or telephone. Customer service is so rare these days that it is almost exciting when I find it, but YourBlinds is one of the rare businesses that seems to have it.

What a great experience! The measuring instructions made me confident I was doing it right, filling out the order form was foolproof (lots of encouraging instructions) and the product was perfect. Each carton had corner reinforcement inside and out, the blinds were labeled for each window and packed gently in foam. I put off installing them because I dreaded the process but it was literally 10 minutes per blind -- drill four holes and snap in the blind and valance. They are crisp and perfectly fit and immaculate. I literally have never been more satisfied with an online shopping experience.

If you’re shopping for blinds or window treatments, I strongly recommend purchasing from YourBlinds.com. Their customer service is outstanding. My purchase was the Hunter Douglas power tilt blinds for a home office. The custom made blinds arrived about 1wk after my online purchase, and were well packaged to survive the shipping. After the installation, I realized I needed a polarity cable, since I requested the cords be on opposite ends of both blinds, which put the tilt motors on opposite ends too. Their email response was within minutes, and I had the special cable in two days! When I have to purchase blinds again in the future, there won’t be any shopping around for me, as I’ll buy exclusively from them. For my own company, I make many online purchases each year, from a wide variety of online stores. I’ve grown to not expect much from customer service most of the time. However, YourBlinds.com is definitely “outstanding in the crowd”.

I just ordered from them again. So far, we've done 8 rooms with YourBlinds. The service is always friendly, and they have every brand you'd be interested in at phenomenal prices (at least 30% below local retail!) with no shipping and no tax (unless you live in Texas). At this point, all of our rooms have window treatments, but when it comes time to upgrade you can bet we'll be ordering from YourBlinds.com. I recommend them to all my friends and acquaintances.

Oh, I probably ought to mention that I've generally been happier with the Comfortex products than the Hunter Douglas products. My motorized HD products have required factory service twice in less than a year (which is totally HD's fault -- YourBlinds is very helpful with factory service requests). I'm also a big fan of the Comfortex radio remote control. Once you get past their lousy documentation, it is a lot more convenient than the HD IR control.

My blinds are awful! I ordered custom blinds. Doesn't that mean that I needed CUSTOM? The blinds I received were for standard size windows. If that is what I had wanted, I could have gone to Home Depot. They didn't even offer to send me the correct size blinds as ordered!!!!! Or to give me my money back. I will never use this company again! When I tried to alleviate the problem, the e-chat girl only asked if I wanted someone to call. If I bothered to express my dissatisfaction, don't you think that the question would have been moot! YES, I wanted someone to call me! Also, when I received my blinds, one set had a twisted cord that made one of the levers not lay straight. Another set I had to physically fix because it had been damaged during shipment. And yet another set will not open or close. My overall experience is not a good one. MANAGEMENT...FIX MY PROBLEM!!!!!! Or is complaining to opinion poll the only way I will get satisfaction? If you want to continue my business, and keep me from trashing your company across the internet, please make this wrong a right!

Ordering was easy. I had requested samples to be sure of color match. The samples were shipped very quickly. My full blinds order (for 4 windows) was shipped within a week. Ordering on YourBlinds.com is extremely simple. First, I read descriptions of the products (wooden blinds), which helped me select the right kind for all my rooms. Then, I read the measuring instructions and measured all my windows. Prior to ordering I was able to check exact prices by entering my measurements and comparing different brands. Once the blinds were ordered, I received a confirmation by email with an estimated delivery day. The blinds arrived in about 10 days in perfect order and carefully wrapped to avoid damage during shipping. The package included all the parts required for installation, without any additional confusing/spare parts, which often only confuse the customer. I was initially skeptical about ordering something as potentially problematic as blinds from YourBlinds.com because I had never heard of them before. I had ordered from Smith + Noble in the past, but YourBlinds had better prices. After doing some online research, I decided to go with YourBlinds and I was not disappointed! The only thing that was maybe a bit sketchy was the discount offered... it was not applied immediately as most websites do, but I only had to contact a rep once and it was taken care of. Buyer Beware!!!! The price was right, The delivery was good and I loved the blinds other than the small gouge in the middle of one of the slats. They refused to make it right. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee is not applicable because they were custom blinds. I was willing to keep the blind if they gave me a discount. They offered 10% discount. (Much less than the cost to ship them back) I was happy with the color and the size and they were not damaged in shipping. They were clearly damaged sometime in packaging. After I got hung up on I contacted Hunter Douglas the blind manufacturer. Jennifer read all my email correspondence and pictures with Yourblinds. Hunter Douglas understood customer service. I received my much larger discount check in the mail on Monday (about a week after I contacted them). Hunter Douglas stood behind their product and I would buy another Hunter Douglas product. Yourblinds did not stand behind their guarantee and I would not buy from them again.

Slats don't open smoothly, now not at all

I ordered a faux wood blind and was not happy with the product. I didn't like the textured finish, which was my fault because I didn't order swatches first. But also, the slats do not open and close smoothly. And just recently, they stopped opening and closing at all! I am going to contact the company about this, since they have a satisfaction guarantee. I will report back when they resolve this issue. I was happier with justblinds.com.

MORONS!
Sent confusing emails, so I canceled order after about 2 hours of trying to get in contact. I think it's run by one person out of the Alamo in Texas. They kept me on hold on my cancel for 24 hours. They don't answer email or phones. I found it an awful experience which I would not wish on anybody else. Maybe they were just overextended that day, but then they would be better off hiring more staff; I think there was only one the day I had to deal with this outfit. Not a very good experience! There are many other choices, I would use them, I did.

I ordered cellular shades from YourBlinds, and they are perfect for the room that I installed them in. I was pleased that samples of available colors were offered, as it made it easy to select the correct shade. Had I purchased the same shades, locally I would have had to pay extra for the top down, bottom up feature. I also would have paid quite a bit more for the shades. I received a tremendous product at a terrific price from YourBlinds. The only drawback was that they took a little longer than expected to arrive. Customer service did all they could to track the order and help me out with the order. Overall they did a terrific job and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

My experience with yourblinds.com was excellent. Great selection, quick shipping, outstanding customer service, and all three vertical blinds I've ordered so far have fit like a glove. Plan on ordering some horizontal faux woods for my kitchen from them soon.

shopping experience was OK, but I used Yourblinds.com rather than blinds.com because they had a "Buy Four, Get One Free" offer. When I filled out the form, you got the LEAST of 5% of your offer, $50, or one of five blinds free. Mathematically, you'd have to buy more than $1000 for 5% to exceed $50. There's no way you could ever get one of five free. This is more like "Buy 19, get one Free". Very deceptive. I'm going to write to the FTC as well. These people clearly don't want repeat business. Oh well, "Fool me once..."

Oh, and when you call the 800 number, you get a recording stating that they will get back to you, but that doesn't happen. They clearly don't want to talk to you.

I ordered relaxed roman shades from their in store brand.  The color matched the swatches perfectly unfortunately they are not professional looking at all.  The back is completely unfinished so from the outside of the house all the strings and the entire pulley system is visible.  Why you would construct a window treatment like this is beyond me -- it does not add to the curb appeal of my home.  I dumped nearly $800 for four of these and I won't use any of them.  Very disappointed.  I was looking to refinish all the windows in my home, another 12 or so, using YourBlinds but based on this I'm searching for another company.

Not only was the product completely sub-standard, they were quick to take my money but slow, slow, slow to deliver.  It took a month and multiple contacts with customer service before my products arrived. 

For me it's back to the drawing board to find a quality products that won't break the bank.

I ordered Hunter Douglas "Duette" single cell shades from YourBlinds.com. They are perfect for the room in which they were installed. One of the things that I really appreciated about YourBlinds was that they have free samples available so you don't have to guess what tone or hue of color, from your computer screen, will work best. The choice was so much easier knowing that what I selected would be what I got. I placed my order by phone because I had several windows to order shades for. It was very easy. Customer service was helpful in finding the exact shade I wanted. The best part was that I got the top down, bottom up feature at no extra cost. I really saved money by ordering through YourBlinds.com. If I had purchased the same blinds locally, I would have paid almost twice as much for the same product. The shades arrived a day or two later than I had expected but that was not a big problem. Customer service did all they could to track them. All in all YourBlinds did a great job. I am very pleased with my shades and the service I got.

I was very cautious about ordering custom blinds online. I researched this company through Epinions and BBBOnline. The customer service was excellent and the sales people even made calls to the manufacturer to confirm some details. They returned my calls promptly when I left a message. The order arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition and in a very reasonable period of time as promised. The blinds fit perfectly, are excellent quality and are beautiful. The pricing was excellent.
I will absolutely use this company for future blinds purchases.

shopping experience was straightforward, received the product after some delay due to address difference between credit card company and new home, arrived on-time, all products appear to be in good condition. Have only hung two of the 12 blinds, first is perfect and the second is almost too small for some reason.
