Terrible Service - Unsatisfied Customer

I ordered 5 cellular shades for approximately $1,100. Two of the shades were broken upon delivery. Now I'm waiting for YourBlinds and UPS to fight it out as to who is responsible. It was obviously a packaging problem and not shipping as the broken parts were inside the shade mechanism. I have been trying for days to contact YourBlinds, but they will not return a phone call or email. Next time I will go locally.

Satisfaction Guarantee no good!! Customer Service Hung up on me.

Buyer Beware!!!! The price was right, The delivery was good and I loved the blinds other than the small gouge in the middle of one of the slats. They refused to make it right. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee is not applicable because they were custom blinds. I was willing to keep the blind if they gave me a discount. They offered 10% discount. (Much less than the cost to ship them back) I was happy with the color and the size and they were not damaged in shipping. They were clearly damaged sometime in packaging. After I got hung up on I contacted Hunter Douglas the blind manufacturer. Jennifer read all my email correspondence and pictures with Yourblinds. Hunter Douglas understood customer service. I received my much larger discount check in the mail on Monday (about a week after I contacted them). Hunter Douglas stood behind their product and I would buy another Hunter Douglas product. Yourblinds did not stand behind their guarantee and I would not buy from them again.

Scam rebate

shopping experience was OK, but I used Yourblinds.com rather than blinds.com because they had a "Buy Four, Get One Free" offer. When I filled out the form, you got the LEAST of 5% of your offer, $50, or one of five blinds free. Mathematically, you'd have to buy more than $1000 for 5% to exceed $50. There's no way you could ever get one of five free. This is more like "Buy 19, get one Free". Very deceptive. I'm going to write to the FTC as well. These people clearly don't want repeat business. Oh well, "Fool me once..."
Oh, and when you call the 800 number, you get a recording stating that they will get back to you, but that doesn't happen. They clearly don't want to talk to you.

MORONS!
Sent confusing emails, so I canceled order after about 2 hours of trying to get in contact. I think it's run by one person out of the Alamo in Texas. They kept me on hold on my cancel for 24 hours. They don't answer email or phones. I found it an awful experience which I would not wish on anybody else. Maybe they were just overextended that day, but then they would be better off hiring more staff; I think there was only one the day I had to deal with this outfit. Not a very good experience! There are many other choices, I would use them, I did.
Now I am on their email list, great!

Blind Lost

We were not happy with the customer service after one of our new blinds would not close properly. We contacted YourBlinds who told us to ship the blind back with specific instructions. We followed the instructions, but somehow, the blind was lost. WE are now expected to pay for the blind to be re-made. YourBlinds will NOT cover the cost of the re-make for this blind. Be warned, do not ship your blind back for repair!

Aweful!

I ordered relaxed roman shades from their in store brand. The color matched the swatches perfectly unfortunately they are not professional looking at all. The back is completely unfinished so from the outside of the house all the strings and the entire pulley system is visible. Why you would construct a window treatment like this is beyond me -- it does not add to the curb appeal of my home. I dumped nearly $800 for four of these and I won't use any of them. Very disappointed. I was looking to refinish all the windows in my home, another 12 or so, using YourBlinds but based on this I'm searching for another company.
Not only was the product completely sub-standard, they were quick to take my money but slow, slow, slow to deliver. It took a month and multiple contacts with customer service before my products arrived.
For me it's back to the drawing board to find a quality products that won't break the bank.

decent product, terrible SPAM

Yourblinds.com continues to pelt me with a barrage of email spam after my purchase. Repeated attempts to have myself removed from their mailing lists have been ignored and I'm still being spammed on a regular basis.
This company has proven themselves to be a great big pain in the a$$, and I will never ever purchase from them again.
