HORRIBLE! They have no phone number. They only do customer service through email, and they DONT REPLY! I have sent 5 emails, and NONE of them have been answered after 7 days now. They havent sent my products after 20 days now! This is ridiculous! WORST company Ive ever dealt with. They are even rude and sarcastic to their help seeking customers through their forums. It was the worst experience I have ever had. They will try to keep as much of your money after returning an item as passable. I purchase a DJ coffin and stand but did not need it. Had to go through the whole email experience back and forth because they dont have a phone number you can call. After getting the return number they make you get sent back the items in the original un-opened boxes and they still try and get a 20% restock fee. They do not respond quickly to your emails and could care less if your happy. Spend a few more bucks at a reputable site. 

My experience with djdeals.com was awful. They refused to ship to my address insisting it was not on file with my credit card company. They do not have any phone number to call for questions or support and insist on only corresponding via email. To top it off, the person who answers your email is incredibly rude and does not understand that for every 1 customer you treat like crap: they tell 10 possible customers.

Here's the email conversation I experienced:

"Has my order been processed? I've been trying to find a phone number to call but have not had such luck."

"We only handle client correspondence through email."

"I'm unable to wait any longer, this is ridiculous. Please cancel my order I won't be using your company again."

 "We will get this cancelled for you and then you will be able to take your future purchases elsewhere."

Are you kidding me? If anyone working for my company said something along these lines to one of my customers they would be fired on the spot.

Ordered a preamp unit on 2.6.09. DJ Deals charged my card for $149 instantly. Still had not shipped it out when I checked again in the evening of 2.12.09. That would be six days. Found another place to order from that shipped it out in a timely manner. Cancelled my order with DJ Deals on 2.12.09. Shows my account will be refunded for $139 leaving me with a wait for a while and not get anything charge of $10.00. Wondering when I will eventually get my money refunded minus my $10. I shall spread the word accordingly to everyone I know, various recording forums I am a part of, and sites like this. Shady.

I received my headphones very quickly, and their prices are incredibly low. I was able to order mine with next day shipping for less than retail price. They quickly responded to my emails and seem very organized.

This is one of the wirst online shops ever. They claim all orders are overseen by the president. WOW... There is only one person there as fas as I know that does everything: Being a president, janitor, shipping, receiving. It took over two months for me to receive my refund, like the other customer mentioned, I kept being directed to the help page. They don't have nothing in stock and all deal with drop shippers. This store is all bogus, so is the supposed "president".

So I went to DJDeals.com because after a lot of comparison they had the lowest prices and in addition to that, free shipping. I ordered two Stanton T80's for a a great price. Then a few days later I get an email telling me theyre out of stock. I was angry because at the time I put in my order I was told they were in stock. So I email them back asking whats gonna happen, because I ordered while they were in stock and I did not feel like waiting around forever. I thought they were gonna just say sorry and send me my money back, but they did me one better. They sent me the USB T90's at no extra charge. Had my Turntables within a couple weeks. A month later I even ordered my mixer and headphones from them.

Awful customer service. I purchased an item that was assembled incorrectly and asked what they planned to do about it. They immediately stated I should contat the manufacturer of the item and seek to return it for warranty service rather then offering to take the item back (IT WAS THE SAME DAY I RECIEVED IT) -- For all I know they could have intentionally sent me a broken item. Here is an exact unmodified quote from an email that customer service sent me:

After I stated I was unhappy that they just wanted me to contact stanton, rather then sending me a new item they said:

"Oh, well we will tell Stanton they shouldn't assist you then, since you don't want their help"

Real nice huh? Customer service at it's best.

Great product selection, fast shipping, honest people, overall good service. I have and will continue to order from them. Steve is very friendly when I called in for help. My only only little complaint is that the phone number isnt easily accessible. And I know Steve's reason for this is to save time and make things more efficient but sometimes, you just need to talk to a human rather than send an email. But overall great reseller.

These guys really are the best and most dj-oriented store I have ever found in person or online. They are friendly and go out of their way to give the most honest and helpful advice every single time I have a question. I have never found cheaper prices anywhere online (nobody even comes close) and they ship faster than any store I have ever heard of. I recommend this dj store above and beyond all others. I am a professional dj that does not normally take the time to write reviews, but these guys deserve my time.

Easily the worst online retailer I've ever purchased from. Equipment shows up defective, and the kicker was that they "CLAIM" that you get a factory warranty.... but the fact is, you have to work through them, and not the manufacturer. this means that you can't get any service or replacements through local dealers.... Have fun shipping back equipment to the distributor, who won't pay for shipping to return it.

Don't bother complaining to them. They don't care. They will sarcastically respond to you like a child. If you even think of complaining on the DJ Deals forum, the will deactivate your account and ban you IP range...

Well the price was right, but the customer service STINKS. It seems that the majority of people are pleased, but if you do have a problem, you're gonna pay more than if you would have gone with Musician's friend or other Big Store to begin with.
I received a broken product and paid the extra $10 to get it "rushed processed" Well it was rushed for nothing. I contacted the website and received an impersonal reply with "review our policy." I only asked for a $10.00 refund for a feature of convenience that was far from it. The amount of money he makes you would think $10.00 would be an easy compromise. Imagine if it was more than that!?! It seems to me his lack for a phone line is for a reason. He claims its to save you money, but is it?


Go with another store, and pay an extra few bucks. I wish I did.

I ordered the Technics 1210 M5Gs two weeks ago, April 30th. The website did not say anything about the item not being in stock as it did for some other items. I paid for two of them, as well as protection. I was "sure" that I would get these, and I almost sold my main turntables, and almost ordered additional parts for these tables since I "knew" I was going to get them.

Today, which is two weeks later, I hadn't received them, and hadn't heard anything from them. When I e-mailed them today, they responded by saying that the Technics distributor they deal with hadn't got them from Asia yet, and asked if I wanted to tell the distributor to cancel. I told them I wanted to cancel, and I am expecting a refund very soon.

Mixer came with serial # scratched off! Then I find out from Pioneer NO WARRANTY! Called Pioneer, only to find out that DJDEALS has been blacklisted by almost every manufacture for selling grey market products as new!

I decided to buy a sound card for my Macbook Pro and bought the Echo Indigo DJ card from DJdeals. It was the wrong card, and when I asked to return the card (unused), he (Steve) referred me to his return policy and then would not respond to my emails. I bought the wrong card and I admit it was my mistake, but give me a break. It's not like it was a PCI card. The worst part is that I bought it for my school (I play for our middle school dances) to try to make the music a little better. Thanks a lot, Steve.

Had an issue and dealt with their costumer service, a guy by the name of Steve M. He was completely unprofessional, rude, incompetent, and offer no solution but one line rude replies which is unacceptable as a customer service representation.

Think twice dealing with these people.

The rep was not very nice. It took him a long time to match a price I was quoted from www.kpodj.com. He actually ended up costing me more money since I had to pay an additional fee at the end of my order. Product arrived defective and it was a very long ordeal to get it replaced. I have been purchasing from the local guitar center and http://kpodj.com/ ever since. Their prices are much better. KpoDJ is very good since I don't have to pay tax and it gets here very fast. Guitar Center will match their price most of the time, but sometimes I end up paying more due to the tax.

I had purchased a very expensive pair of Ultrasone headphones, when they got in the Package was destroyed. I called DJDEALS but they would not help me in the matter. They had me take it up with UPS... I have bought many things online and the issues I've had with shipping were ALWAYS taken care of by the seller. In this case the seller through me under the wheel and made me take care of the things myself. Very POOR customer sevice

I ordered a power supply for a Vestax PMC 17A mixer from DJDeals.com and was sent a power supply that does fit what I order. It won't even fit the input so I don't even know if it works and it's the wrong voltage so even if it did fit I would have no use for it. So they just took my money and sent me something I have no use for. RipOff!!!!!!!!!

Bad customer service. Slow or no response to emails. Overprice shipping. Pay extra to have your order processed in one business day which most sites have for free. No telephone. Very strict return policy they claim is normal.

Wow...after reading various review sites (after I ordered), I was very paranoid and wished I would not have ordered from DJ Deals but it was too late!...I ordered through Google and after a couple of days, I asked about my order status via email and received nothing in return (OH NO)...long story short, I received the order on the following Monday out of the blue (yea!)...very nicely packaged with original box inside a cardboard box w/lots of peanuts...so here's the deal - customer support is minimal but I saved $25 on a $150 item from everyone else and shipping was free and very FAST. I would order again

order shipped the next day, got it about a week later.

everything was great except they shipped the unit in its original packaging... during shipment the box got torn up - luckily the unit was okay... I wish they had packed the unit in another box to protect it...

other than that, it was a good transaction.

Worst experience of my life! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - can't phone & my 3 emails were ignored until I finally refused the shipment & started dispute process with my credit card co. My third email explaining my dissatisfaction received the following unbelievable response: "Nobody has a clue what you are talking about. You may want to read the emails sent to you (attached) prior to sending nuisance emails to our company." Prior to this, the only response was the order confirm email. The attachment referred to was the shipping confirm (11 days after order & credit card charged)which I didn't receive until this arrogant, unhelpful response. My last email trying to discuss this order/issue came back as undeliverable and labeled "nuisance email." I cannot even access their site regarding order/shipping issues. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Ordered a mixer for my brother. It was back-ordered at first but they sent me an email when it was back in stock. I did end up having to re-order because it had been a month or so since my original order and the mixer had gone up in price a bit.

MY experience with DJ Deal was the worst. Don't buy from them because their just middle men who don't like to answer phones. They use their website to conduct customer service, bad news. When it comes down to a refund DJ Deals will tell you to get you refund from the product manufacture. Buy direct from the manufacture or from a audio store you can visit on-line and in person.

I ordered two JBL stage monitors and received a confirmation e-mail that my order was placed and they had charged my credit card. Then nothing for a week. Finally I found out they were closed for a music merchants conference. No updates whatsoever, no tracking numbers, nothing.

That is until I received my speakers a week later. Two hours after they were delivered, I received an e-mail stating that my items had shipped and it included a tracking number.

Just a bit late with the info!

I placed an order and found out later they didn't had some of the items I ordered, then I asked If they could meet a delivery date, but my order arrived late, they don't take responsibility for their own errors, the worst customer service I have found so far.

Beware of any company that does not provide a telephone number for customer support. This is because their client service is non-existent. The first product I bought from them was damaged, and when I decided to give them another chance with a second order, they shipped me the wrong item, then refused to pay for me to ship it back to them. In fact, their response was "that rarely happens". They DO NOT ship the items themselves -- they order your products from the manufacturer, and the product is shipped directly to you from there. They are rude and unhelpful, and I would not recommend ordering from them.

Dj Deals.com had quick delivery, excellent E-mail communication, and the price was really the lowest I found on quality name brand products. I Will use them again to compare prices and order my equipment.

Frauds. Product sent not as described on web site, and they charged me shipping both ways AND a 20% restock fee. I have ordered product twice from this company, because the prices were great. However, subsequent to this I started receiving a lot of spam to an address that I supplied only to them. I wonder if that's how they keep their prices low -- by selling customer addresses.

I didn't even make it to the purchase point!! I come from Canada, and sending electronic items across the border gets the items scrutinized very closely (usually dismantled/destroyed) so asking to have the item shipped to a friends in Ohio was my logical conclusion. The person writing the emails at info@djdeals.com must have something up their a$$ today as they were not helpful, not suggestive to an alternate solution and most of all RUDE!!

I ordered a Sefour DJ table for $700 and then didn't get any other contact for 4 days - i did get an initial receipt saying to keep it because i wouldn't be getting another. I tried to contact them just because i was curious when this item might dispatch - their response was read our shipping documentation - which clearly says nothing. Couldn't find anything out even though my credit card had been debited! Had to go through the pain of canceling the credit card transaction.

First of all, these guys are the poster child for poor customer service, the worst I've dealt with on the internet. Their e-mail responses are the stupidest I've every received and they don't answer your questions directly. Hey, did I mention that they don't even have a phone number on their site? They're an Authorized Stanton Dealer....woooo....and after contacting Stanton, they seemed to be just as bad!? Don't deal with DJDeals.com, it's a bad experience! You'll thank me. Recommend AmericanMusical.com and SameDayMusic.com for DJ purchases. DJDeals.com (they shouldn't even be in the business) could learn from these other pro's.

When you first look at the claims of cheap prices, no shipping, and no tax, I thought to myself what's the catch?? NOTHING. I got my stuff right when it was promised, at the very very low prices, not only that, but, I had many questions regarding my purchase, since I am a nub DJ, lol. DJDEALS.Com has had the fastest/best response from any online vendor that I've dealt with. (and there's been tons of them They gave honest answers, that really helped. Delivery speed was actually rather slow. I ordered late on a thursday, and the order wasn't processed before sunday (but on a sunday!!). Then the package was "lost in the mail" until next thursday, and I got the package tuesday one and a half week after ordering it. But hey, the shipping was free :)

The price was the lowest I could find on a trustworthy site, thats why I used djdeals.com. There was one other webpage claiming they would sell me the 650-headphones cheaper, but they had to send the price via email, and I could save 20 bucks...but hey, what kind of business cant make an offer up front? I didnt trust that page, so I ended up with djdeals anyway.

The ordering process was overall clean and professional, I will recomend djdeals.com to anyone buying special items not widely available elsewhere. The packaging was good, and the product absolutely stood up to the recomendations!!! If you have 300 bucks left in some account, I suggest you buy yourself PROLINE 650 PRO! That's some NICE SOUND!

DJDeals.com was one of the few online shops that would ship the Pioneer HDJ-1000 (which was rare to find at the time of purchase) to Canada. Correspondence via email was swift and fast. Very pleased to receive shipment within 2-3 days.

I was a bit ticked off that they did not accept payment via Paypal or any other convenient methods. Had to fax in the payment info.

But overall, 2 THUMBS UP!

Frankly I’m a bit surprised by all of the positive reviews. Although they shipped quickly, they are curt, sarcastic and carry an adolescent attitude summed up by the phrase “The customer is always wrong.”

I would recommend these guys with reservations especially if you don’t need to communicate with them or if you don’t mind dealing with attitude and unhelpful responses to questions and requests.
It’s too bad, because I’d like to patronize a DJ-run business rather than some of the electronics mega-sites, but they don't provide much of an incentive to do so.

I had ordered a pair (2) of Stanton AL500-II cartridges, and a Numark mixer. I chose free shipping, so i expected delivery to be slow. I received my order in about 8 days from time of order. I came home to find the box just sitting right on my doorstep out in the open. I had opened the box to find my mixer there with one Stanton AL500-II Cartridge package taped to the bottom of the Numark mixer box. They only shipped one cartridge to me, so I called and they wouldn't take my calls. I had e-mailed them with my order number and asked for a receipt (because they never gave or sent one out when I ordered it online), but they never replied to my e-mail. No receipt, didn't ship all items ordered, poor customer service.

Excellent Experience! Responded to an emailed question I sent out at around 5pm (PST) and I got a response within an hour! NOTE: Business is on the East Coast!
My mixer shipped the same day I ordered it! Lastly.... excellent communication via email with order# and UPS tracking #!

Great price on Shure earphones. I ordered on a Wednesday night, and my order was shipped and delivered on Friday afternoon (!) even though I chose free shipping UPS ground.

I had a great experience shopping at Joyride. The delivery was on time. They really helped me out with the problems I had with my credit cards. They covered and made me a better price than the one I found at some competitor. The only problem was that the good arrived without a receipt. But they showed themselves very reliable, and I am sure that they will send it to me as soon as I ask them to.

Even after I added shipping to Australia, taxes and customs duty, the mixer I purchased from VestaxStore.com was still less than half price compared to buying in a DJ equipment store here. It was great!! DJDeals also gave me a tracking number and I could see my parcel fly out of America, over the Pacific and into Australia (delivered in under 1 week). This really put my mind at ease as there are numerous horror stories about buying over the net. I would certainly recommend Joyryde to anyone living outside the US, sick of importers running a virtual monopoly, charging customers ridiculous prices. These guys really are the best and most dj-oriented store I have found in person or online. They are friendly and go out of their way to give the most honest and helpful advice. I have never found cheaper prices and they ship faster than any store I have ever heard of. I recommend this dj store above and beyond all others. I am a professional dj that does not normally take the time to write reviews, but these guys deserve my time.
