To whom it may concern,
The representative from Infinity photo, Ted, who contacted us by phone was not very helpful. He first called our administrative assistant and succeeded in pressuring her to agree to add a battery charger to our original package. The original bill was for $424.74 for FINEPIX S7000 KIT #1. With the addition of one battery charger the price ballooned to $515.00! $89.26 for a simple AA battery charger? Ridiculous.
When I spoke to Ted, he tried to pressure me to buy a different CF card using deceptive arguments. Particularly he claimed a 30sec write time for every picture and a 3Mpixel limitation with the 128MB card included. The first statement is only true for the largest picture setting and the second statement is not true at all. Even though I did not agree to any more additions to the package, this made for an unpleasant experience.
In addition to this, when I asked for a tracking number for UPS shipping, Ted told me it would cost $35 for insurance and a tracking number. When I asked him for a tracking number only, he said this could not be done. Any quick check of UPS policy will show that this feature is free. This is confirmed by the existence of a tracking number posted on the shipping label when we received the package.
Other than our disappointing experiences with the representative, Ted, the product is what we expected. Still, I would not recommend Infinity camera to any of my associates or friends and will not personally buy anything from them again.

Confirmed oreder via phone on a Thursday afternoon. Received an email the next day stating camera was now unavailable because of demand. My belief is that they cancelled my order because I did not wish to purchase the additional items they attempted to sell me over the phone. I suppose it could be just a coincident....

They advertised a great price on the Canon SD500. I ordered it from the net. Five days latter, I received an email asking me to call to confirm my purchase. I did, and found that their great price was for a camera body only, no battery, no memory card, nothing more. If I wanted the camera as packed for use, I had to add another $70. I consider this nothing more than a bait and switch scam. Especially since the web page with the price did not specifically say this was camera body only and you would have to buy the minimum stuff to make it workable separately.
My Rating: Avoid this company: they are dishonest and are trying to scam you. The only good things I can say is that at least they sent an email requiring a call before they shipped the useless camera body, and they did process an order cancellation very quickly.

It has been a week since I placed the order;however, I have not received even shipping notice email. So I called many times to find out what's going on with my order. After hours of trying, I finally got to talk to customer service. They put me on hold about an hour and told me that they did not ship the product yet. Also they tried to see the battary. So I cancelled the order. This was the worst online purchasing experience ever.

This place is nothing but a scam and rip off store! Primetime live needs to do an investigation and put them out of business! I placed my order and got a confirmation email that it was done. The next day I get another email asking me to call. I called numerous times and was hung up on several times. Despite me leaving a message, they never called me back. The next day I tried to call again only to get a recording they were closed for the holiday (I was unaware there was any holiday and even searched online and could not find one). Finally I get them and have some obnoxious person who barely spoke English tell me the camera I ordered was not in stock, but I could upgrade to a much more expensive one that was. I cancelled my order immediately and the person slammed down the phone on my ear. I never got anything to validate the order was cancelled. It really disgusts me that these people can take orders and obtain personal information about people when they do not even have the items in stock. I am changing my credit card number because from the reviews I read, this business has nothing in stock ever and I wonder what their interest in having my personal information was. Maybe homeland security should be checking this place out!

i had placed an order for a digital camera and did not get any reply apart from the automated order received confirmation email. i had called up customer service and managed to get in touch with some one who told me that the stock will take time and the product will be reaching me in a weeks time instead of the 2 days shipping.
After more than a week i get no reply and when i called up again i get the message that the product has been over sold and my order would be cancelled till further notice.
Trust me.. a real bad experience. atleast if i was told in the begining that the order would take a real long time.. i wouldn't have waited and made all my travel plans assuming that i would have the camera in hand by then!!!

The original offer on the site was confusing for me; it wasn't clear that it was only body and lens and didn't even include the battery ... the final product I really wanted was out of the sudden twice the price on the webpage. Consequently I cancelled my first order. After I had the time to check on other merchants, I actually went back to Infinity Cameras and ordered the "kit" which I actually really wanted. So, happy ending with some hick-ups on the way.

These guys are thieves, Avoid them like the plague. The old bait & switch. They promise everything and deliver nothing. First they tell you the advertised price is after rebate(not in the ad). Then After they pressure you to take seriously overpriced upgrades they tell you the unit you ordered (the one they advertised as in stock) is delayed. Finally in disgust I cancelled the order. Got my money back on credit card (at least that's something)

I was excited about getting my order done, but it went down hill from there. I ordered it monday night, and tuesday afternoon recieved a message to call them back. Since I live on the west coast, I was unable to contact them till the next day. On wed morning I contacted Chris from Infintiy Camera where he proceeded to try to add more to my order. I was also informed after not taking there warranty that there was no factory warranty. Once Chris realized that he was not going to add anymore to my order he gave me my total, and informed me it would be 4 to 6 weeks before I would get my order, I repeated what he said to me in some shock and he said yes an hung up. Even though Chris was not rude, that fact that he tryed to add another thousand dollars to my order, and telling me there is no factory warranty left a bad taste in my mouth. I did cancel my order but only after several weeks of being told that it was out of stock and would be back in stock "soon". When I canceled the order, I was told that they would not be getting any more in. However, I just checked their website and they continue to have the camera listed. I believe that advertising a product that a business does have and will not obtain is against the law in most states, but I am not certain how an individual state's law applies to offers on the internet.
If anyone has a genuine proble with them (i.e. you actually give them money and don't get the product), I would not hesitate to contact the NY attorney general's office to register a complaint about deceptive practices. I didn't file a complaint, but only because the price fell into the "too good to be true" category--and I got exactly wait I paid for--disappointment. WORST E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE EVER!!

The merchant completely misrepresented the item I wanted to purchase. The item is supposed to come from the manufacturer with software and apparently they open the packaging and remove this software so that they can try to sell it to you when you call to process the order. To me that no longer makes the item new but rather used.

Infiniti Cameras sent an email to verify the order. They proceeded to tell me that the camera i ordered did not include a battery or software or cables even though this is included in the package - I would have to spend an additional $350 to get these items. I confirmed that i did not need these items at which point I was notified that they had cancelled the order. It is clear that they never intended to fulfill the order

I have not yet been able to contact them by phone or email to confirm my order, and am therefore likely missing out on a substantial rebate offered from the mfr. I intend to try to complete the purchase (it's still a good price, much better with the rebate of course) but this unexpected delay in being able to contact them and even know what is going on with my order has not impressed me at all with the quality of their service.
