This place is a scam, and so are all the other too-good-to-be-true priced sellers out there. There is a way to deal with these fools. Go ahead and get the accessories, if you don't your camera will magically be "out of stock" or a "Japanese" edition. ...

Infinity Cameras is the doomsday store of the internet. I got sucked in to ordering a camera from them by the unbelievable prices. Three days after I placed my order, I got an email saying that I had to call and confirm my order. When I called, the guy tried to sell me hundreds of dollars worth of accessories that I didn't need. When I said no, he placed me on hold. When he came back, he told me that my camera was on backorder and I wouldn't get it for another 2 weeks. I called today (1 wk later)to check the status and they told me that it is now on 21 days backorder. Tomorrow I am cancelling my order. They are con artists!

I should have looked at these reviews. I too was taken not once but twice. Last year I bought a Nikon 5700 for a really good price. Turned out it was a gray market non USA product and I was talked into a USA model for the same price as every other store. I didn't learn my lesson. I just purchased a Nikon D70 which was advertised at $1149 for the D70 kit. Like many others I got an e-mail to call Mark about the order. He routed me to another crook who kept me waiting and after several bogus delays he informed that the D70 kit was on backorder 2-3 weeks. But he had a D70 kit with "extra's" and a 5 year warranty for $1799. I told him no to cancel the order then he lowered the price by $100 to $1649 plus $57 shipping. Total price was $1754.49 for the D70 kit, bag, and 5 year warranty.
It seems that this outfit is the King Of Bait and switch tactics. Do not do business with this bunch of thieves.

I ordered Sony DSC-F717 digital camera from this company delivery was on time and I received exactly what was advertised. The customer service was excellent and this is an excellent company to do business with.

Bad Bad Bad - I tried to buy a digital camera there - same procedure as with the others - please call. When I called they tried to talk me into buying overpriced accessories that come with the package at all other stores. When I did not accept, they told me delivery would be within 5 to 6 weeks... At least they sent me an e-mail to confirm the cancellation of the order immediately.

I purchased a Canon PowerShot G5 camera from Infinity Cameras and they claim nothing comes with the camera. Just the camera body. Then they started listing all the add-on items at outrageous prices. The great purchase at a low price was just a scam so I would be forced to purchase the items needed to make the camera operate. Canon has a list of what's in the box and Infinity Camera was charging extra for these same items. I fell like I was paying twice for just one camera.I fell all of Infinity Camera is just a big scam! I told them to cancel my order and they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. What a joke outfit.

Horrible service, Will not recomend to anyone. They say they have the product but then they put you on hold and force you to give your personal information and credit card before they check to see if they have the product in stock. They try to be very slick. WOULD NOT TRUST THEM > BUYERS BE WARE!!!!!!

Like so many others, I was sucked in by Infinity's low prices. Like ALMOST EVERYONE, they totally wasted my time. I was hoping for a miracle (like about every tenth review writer SUPPOSEDLY has gotten) but all I got was the no returned phone calls or emails and then when I called back 2weeks later, the "back-ordered" excuses. Maybe you will get lucky but I sincerely doubt it. The saying, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR," was coined with companies like Infinity in mind. Except with Infinity, what you GET is frustration and heartburn. Do yourself a favor and deal with a reputable store.
