Boy did I get a quick education on where not to shop. After doing a price comparison on Shop & Compare.com, I purchased what I thought was a comparable item from Infinity Cameras. The very next day, I received a phone call from a fast-talking salesman letting me know that I still needed to spend an additional $300 to get what I thought I had already purchased. Ten days later, it still hasn't been shipped, but, they charged my card a week ago. What a trip this has been.

Reviews are correct. Ordered the OLY 750 today and was told it was in stock. After listening to and declining the accessories package, the salesman said that the camera was backordered. No accessories, no camera.....

"Ha, get this. I was about to buy a SHARP AQUOS LC-30HV6U b/c Infinity had the best deal. Well now I know why! They not only pushed an extended warranty on me, but then told me I had to purchase a "KIT" ....either one that comes with a table top stand and the box or the other "kit" that comes with the wall mounting bracket and box. Now this is the FIRST time I have EVER heard of a company selling the stand as an extra unit. The wall mount, I have seen...But they are charging an extra $299 for the stand and box, which normally comes standard with all other vendors. The salesman kept trying to convince me that he had the best price on this TV. Well, he was right, until the jacked up the price with a stand that is supposed to be included in the FIRST PLACE!! Good riddance Infinity. And shoppers, do your homework. It pays!"
I ordered a camera at a low price with 2 day delivery, and when i called about 2 days later it didn't even ship yet and they told me it was out of stock, What a load of crap. My honest opinion is their a bunch of crooks that will do anything for a dollar. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I found Infinity cameras via online search for the digital rebel. I was just looking for the body and the body only. I felt very pressured to make quick decisions. There was alot of pressure to buy assesories which i didn't really appreciate. When the order was finally completed, I was confused on what I had purchased. I had to call several times for the listing and even asked if they would email me a contents listings that most places do when you buy online. I am however very very pleased with the camera I bought.

I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 5700 by phone, wanted to make sure that it was in stock and that I would receive it within seven days. I had previously ordered the camera from a different source, waited for two weeks, it never arrived, it was never in stock.
Infinity beat their price. I did get a kit and the package arrived within the next week. They were going to charge a rather high shipping fee, I declined the order but the salesman dropped the rate. I specifically ordered an extra NIKON EN-EL1 battery, that I did not receive, they sent the replacement battery.

What a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE waste of time. Unfortunately, I had not read the reviews here before placing an order with them. HUGE MISTAKE. After receiving no further e-mail communication from them after the confirmation, I wrote, to no response, then called, where they intentionally confused my name (not a hard one, either) put me on hold half a dozen times. Finally I said that if they could not tell me what was going on with my order I wanted it cancelled and all of my information purged, and that, at another 5 minute ordeal, was the easiest thing about this transaction. SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Infinity Cameras helped me get the camera i needed withing the requested time-frame, as i was going on vacation, and they also followed up on the my order, and called me to verify that i had everything i needed.

I recently purchased a Minolta Dimage A1 Digital Camera and accessories from Infinity Camera and I was pleased with the sales and service departments regarding processing, delivery and support with my order.
This was my first time ordering product of this magnitude on line but everything was received as promised and on time.
My special thanks to Michael and Dennis in Customer Support for handling everything in professional manner.
Infinity Cameras advertised that they had an Olympus C5060 in stock. I called them and they were very cagey. It would take them 7-10 days to even receive one. They lied. Eopinions should drop them!

I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 4500 from Infiniti because of their advertised price on July 21, 2004. The process was very simple and easy to accomplish. After placing the order, I found the reviews section and nearly fell off my chair. I immediately considered stopping payment on the credit card. I decided to wait and see what happened.
On July 22, 2004, I received an email stating I needed to contact them. I called and talked to Mark who told me up front that the camera was in stock and that it had no warranty. He suggested a different battery pack which I refused. He then thanked me for the order and we hung up.
On July 23, 2004, I received a call from infiniti verifying my alternate shipping address and the lady told me the camera was shipping and I should receive it in 10 days.
I received the camera yesterday 1 week after ordering it. I don't understand how so many people can complain about what appeared to me to be excellent service and, for the price, I got what I paid for. I would buy from them again with out worry.
In the price comparison, a camera I ordered, a Sony TRV350, is shown as in stock. In fact, it has been on back order for two weeks now. I don't know that the discrepancy is Infinity's fault, though. I recommend double checking whether anything really is in stock.
UPDATE
I ultimately bought the camera from The Goodguys, for a higher price but without incident. (Wow! What a camera!)

Placed order for JVC camcorder. A day or so later, received an email stating that they need to confirm order. When I called, they are just trying to sell you more crap that you don't want... like a $80 battery. After they figured out they couldn't sell me anything extra, they said that I should receive my order in a few days. Over a week later, called to get tracking info... after talking with 3 different people giving me the run-around, they said that it is backordered and they might get some in later that month. I canceled the order.

I should have read the reviews for this place before I purchased from them. I sent several emails to their customer service (yeah right!) center to inquire about the contents of the camera I wanted to order (did I mention that this is a $6,000.00 camera?). They didn't respond until I threatened that I would go elsewhere for my purchase. I made the purchase and they said that it would take 21 days for them to drop ship the camera. That was 40 days ago today. I have continually sent them email and gotten no (0, nada) responses to my questions. This is the crappiest company on the net. I wouldn't purchase anything (certainly not a $6000.00 camera) if they were selling it for $0.05. Things must be very good at Infinity Cameras that they don't need to pay attention to a customer who wants to purchase such a high ticket item.
Upon the purchase of a camera I was supposed to call to confirm my order. I did so and spoke to the salesperson assigned to me. He put me on hold several times, while on hold other salespeople repeatedly kept picking up the line and speaking to me of other orders. When my salesman came back he asked if i wanted any accessories. He kept pushing me on the fact that the sale price on accesories was only good if I placed them with the camera order .
I declined them at this time. He said he would go check on the availability of the camera. On hold again, the same barrage of other salesmen with other orders.
he came back on and said it was in stock. He put me through to the shipping dept. they informed me that it was out of stock it would be two weeks untill they could ship mine. I called to check on the order 18 days later. I was told that the item was still not in stock and they had no idea when it would be . In the end I believe this store put a really low price on one item just to sell accesories to unsuspecting people. Very deceptive.
Not happy with this merchant at all.

I cancelled the order because they were trying to make me buy a warranty. They offered the lowest price on the Internet, but then tell you that you have to pay to get more than a 7 day warranty. I won't do business with people who do this.

When I placed the order some one called me that same day which was great and told me the item would be received within 7 business days. 2 weeks have passes and not even a phone call or a tracking number. Sent out an email in the mean time to track the package and never recd an answer. When the 2 weeks was almost over I called and a person told me that it was in back order and it would take another 2 weeks, I'm like ok...but nobody called me to let me know, I had to call. But then, the same night I called again because I had another question regarding the shipment and this other sales person told me...and I quote "you will not get this item because we no longer carry it, don't even bother waiting for it, you will not receive it" I asked them when were they expecting to let me know this....being that I just spoek with someone prior to him, they just could not answer that. Actually nobody could justify to me why I haven't received a call or an email to let me know. This was a father's day present and I came to find this out a Thursday before. It is just unacceptable. The worst customer service ever. There is NO communication between your sales team. One doesn't know what the other does.
I WILL never ever buy anything again from you guys, this was my first and last experience...will NOT recommend you guys.

Fake product prices in order to get higher search hits from customers - upon calling them, they raise the price by 50% in order to sell the item attempting to pigeonhole you into a sale after already giving them your credit card - meanwhile if you attempt to cancel, there is a 99.00 restocking fee that they will threaten you wiht upon order cancellation. first require you to make a call, then tell you the reason require the call is security code of credit card which elsewhere does not require. Then try to convince you to buy accessories. Total scam. Just like every other bad review. They try to charge extra for things that are included, then when you just say no, the item immediately appears to be on backorder. My advice is do not shop at this site. They offer a low price to lure you in and when I placed the call to confirm the order they said the price did not include even the manafacturers warranty but only a 7 day store warranty. When I called them after I had not received the camera within the expected time I was told the camera was not in stock and would not be for about a month. They also attempted to get me to purchase the same camera which was packaged with components which I did not want. The price difference was about $400. Read more
