I still haven't received my camcorder... when I ordered the product the website gave me no indication that it was on back order. I received a follow up call with someone trying to sell me accessories and THEN I was told my product was on backorder. I didn't receive any updates until I emailed the company a month after placing the order. They never had the product, I called and they tried to sell me a service contract for a computer they couldn't ship. When I was asking specifically if I would have it by Christmas they assured me yes. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE PRODUCT!!! The camcorder that I purchased was advertised at a lower price due to the fact that they were advertising the camera alone. Once you put in the price of the battery and battery charger, which are normally sold with the camera, the price of the camera was actually more than I would have paid else where. Read more

the man was quick to get me off the phone and told me i wouldn't get my camera for 2 weeks for some reason(didn't have the kit on hand, even though it didn't say it was out of stock etc.) and i had purchased 2 day shipping...$70 is a lot for shipping yet he said if i didn't still get 2 day shipping it'd be even longer. oh well. i'm still waiting for a comfirmation email for shipping purposes so i can track it's progress, it's been 5 days now. otherwise they had what i wanted and at a good price. can't complain. Ended up cancelling the order because merchant site (nor customer service reps) did NOT disclose VITAL information about the products they offer. Specifically, does NOT state ANYWHERE that the item offered was an IMPORT MODEL, DID NOT CONTAIN THE USUAL ACCESSORIES described by the manufacturer, and that it TAKES 4-6 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY--even though the site offered (and accepted) my choice of 2-day shipping charges!!! I feel they are using deceptive marketing tactics such as failure to disclose and "bait and switch" for add-ons you may not want/need. Think carefully before you buy from them, call them to make sure you understand the FACTS of their product offering...then, if their terms are acceptable, [cross your fingers] and buy it.
