I went ahead for the purchase as they listed the item at $969, below the $1099 elsewhere. As soon as i said' go ahead', they hoisted a $300 'deluxe kit' that they said had the 4 hr battery pack. Lter I was to realise that the battery is a standard battery you get with the laptop anyway. So although i ended up paying $1270, same as elsewhere, the way they went about it was really not very nice. The product could not be tracked, they said, because it shipped from another location. ALSO, THEIR SALES PEOPLE ARE VERY VERY RUDE. VICTOR, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GUY, IS POLITE AND HELPFUL.
But I got what i ordered and got it on time, though i think if i had not agreed to the $300 deluxe pack, i would have had problems. But i would not know for sure (Thank God!)

I ordered the camera on October 11th, and still haven't received it. The confirmation email was sent out right after the order was placed, but it took me sending an email asking where the camera was a week later to have them tell me that they didn't have any in stock. I was then told that the camera would be charged to my credit card and sent when ever they got some in, although there was no estimated time for this. Infinity Cameras should either stop offering cameras that they do not carry, or provide an email notice that the product is currently out of stock and will be delivered at a certain time.

Beware of bad business conduct,
First I viewed the product online and decided to call in to order, I guess it made feel more secure when talking to a real person. First they asked me what I want then tried to sell me a lot of other stuff that I don't need. I told the salesman I don't need anything else and he seemed frustrated about me not buying anything else right on the spot. Then he was going to charge me $50 for S&H while online was only $30, so I decided not to order on the phone, and I filled up all the information and purchased it online. the camera was supposed to be shipped in 24-48 hours and received in 7 to 14 days(since they said to have it in stock. contacted them after 2 weeks and to my surprise they said that I should've know that was on back order. The sales person said that I will receive it in 2 weeks. Called back in two weeks and I was told that again was on back order wait 4 to 6 weeks, so I cancelled the order. The sales people did not act like professionals and were upset when I cancelled the order. I will never do any business with this company and if you decide to do so be aware of the planned unannounced delays, and lack of professionalism. This was my worst experience shopping online.

I did not have a pleasant experience with this company. I had placed an order for the laptop on-line and the transaction went through with no problems. But because I was in such a hurry to recieve my computer, I followed-up on my purchase the next day with a phone call, and I was quite lucky to have done so. After being transferred to the thrid representative (with a relatively short wait) I was told that they in fact did not have the model I want but I was offered a refurbished one. And the best deal they could offer was an extended warranty on the laptop with no discount on the original price. Needless to say I immediately cancelled my order and sought another company. Regardless of the urgency of my situation I was extrememly annoyed and frustrated at the lack of inventory update on their website and lack of communication on their part to notify me appropriately.

When I originally placed the order, I was quoted a little over 100.00 for shipping and was allowed to place the order. I received a call later saying they couldn't ship for less than 300.00. Still later, I received another call saying my house is in an "out-of-bounds" area and they were going to have to charge me an additional 200.00. I practically live in downtown Oakland, not at all in a remote location. It's been over 2 weeks and I have yet to receive the order.

They asked me to buy a bunch of accessories along with the camera. When I told them I didn't need to buy anything extra because I have another similar camera, they told me they were out of stock. Sounds like, they are advertising low pricing to get people to call them but do not honor the sale unless they can passon other high priced items. I just wasted a couple of days thinking my order I placed online would ship on time. But they do not ship anyhting without talking to the customer and trying to push some extra sales - maybe they should forego the web order feature on their site...

they advertised on their site a "Sony HDR-FX1 camcorder" when I went to purchase on-line, they sent me an email saying that they required a phone confirmation. While on the phone, they informed me that they were just selling the "camera body." This meant that they had stripped everything off of the camera INCLUDING the attached lens. Nowhere on their site did they mention this, in fact, the picture posted showed a camcorder with lens and lens hood.

When I first ordered on their WEb site. They stated that my order was processed. However when I called them next day they said we don't have your Camera and it will take 6 to 8 weeks. They stated that they emailed me. However I never received an email. Their WEB SITE did not mention any delay in processing my order. They took my Credit Card info. and now they are playing Mouse and Cat or vis versa game. I just wonder how long more should I give them. Are they better or they are like the rest of the merchants on web. Play head games and never deliver. Well 4 weeks will tell. Although I should have received my Camera by NOW!!!!
