RoyalDisount.com was a great vendor! received my order quickly and it was accurate. The software was original and I was able to validate my copy of Office 2003 with the Microsoft Genuine Validation program. I highly recommend this vendor!

They sold what was advertised BUT did not state that the iCarPlay was USED! Not a deal, buyers be very aware.

I ordered XP SP1 and then decided to return it (unused) because I discovered that MS was terminating support for it. I asked Royal Discount to exchange it for SP2 and Royal Discount did this quickly without hassle. (I don't remember the sequence, but I actually had two exchanges - both done as buy new and return because I wanted it immediately - returns done as efficiently as purchases.) The shipping was very fast too.

You can judge a company by how it handles returns and customer service, more so than purchases. Royal Discount completely pleased me.

Several months ago I purchased 80 MS Terminal Server CALS from this vendor. The cost was ~$6,000.00. I did not receive 'sealed' software. There were just 4 each 20 User 'Certificates'. When we tried to activate them, we could not. We contacted MS and they said the SW had already been activated, and the way they were sent to us, made them suspect foul play. They encouraged us to contact their software piracy division.

I should have done this, but I decided to work this with Royal. Maybe it was just a mistake? To make a long story short, after months of assurances it would be taken care of, they now refuse to make the matter right. I am now engaged in filing criminal and civil action against them. I am also warning colleagues not to fall into the same trap I did.

I have purchased a half dozen Windows XP CDs and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition from royaldiscount.com over the last year. Each transaction has been perfect: Exactly what I want; The lowest price I could find; and delivered promptly.

I was able to locate what I needed quickly and checkout was uneventful. My item was out of stock after I purchased but customer service rep emailed me to substitute a like item for the same price. After responding, I received my item within the posted time frame. My only issue was not notifying me that the item I wanted was unavailable prior to purchase but since I was satisfied with the replacement item, I didn't find this to be a problem.
