Pros: MP3/WMA playback, Price, Quality Cons: Horribly Bright Display, confusing remote
I bought this stereo from Crutchfield after reading the reviews on epinions about it. I noticed that it had overall good ratings and as I had limited funds available and wanted a full function MP3/CD player for my car, I did not hesitate to order this ...

Pros: Inexpensive, all the right features, clean overall design Cons: display is too bright at night.
I bought this model because it has a relatively clean, uncomplicated design and because it plays mp3s (why anyone would make a car CD stereo without mp3 capability in this day and age is beyond me). The fact that it will play mp3s in random mode sealed ...

Pros: Almost everything is done right with this unit, except for ONE BIG PROBLEM. Cons: IRRITATING POPPING SOUND in the background when playing any disc other than a store-bought CD!

Pros: Cheap, never skips, MOSFET 25watts RMS and 50 watts max X 4 channnels. Cons: No graphic EQ built in, no ability to change face colors.
About a year ago I took a trip to TWEETER ETC and brought a MP3 cd with me. I tried the cd on about a half dozen MP3 units and found that they all took a long time and their functionality was poor...except the highest end Kenwood Execelon. There ...

It died
by bubbanem ,Nov 25 '07
Pros: Inexpensive, lot of features Cons: Very bright display - not dimmable.
After 52 months, the unit blew its onboard 15 Amp fuse. Replacing the fuse resulted in immediate blowing of the new fuse (twice). I partially disassembled the unit and found no obvious shorts.
:-(
I'll try another brand next time

Pros: Sounds great. Easy to use. Cons: Skips way too easy. Display is horribly bright.
I don't think the other reviewers listened to normal cds before writing there reviews. MP3 cds play great. But if you play a normal cd with any scratches on it it'll skip. I thought maybe mine was just defective but I tried another and same problem. I do NOT recommend. I'm returning mine to crutchfield.
