Pros: Excellent color, with extremely low distortion. Cons: May not be suitable for young children due to minimum 58mm inter pupillary adjustment.

Great binocular that rivals the "high priced" contenders!

Pros: Optical quality equal to Zeiss and Leica. Significantly less cost. Cons: None, I have found. If there are, I'd like to hear about them.
A superbly made, high quality binocular that makes the Zeiss and Leica contenders, pale. Why? Well, there are some notable differences like scratch resistant lenses and hygrophobic (water shedding) objectives. Try before you buy, but my experience has been that I find no difference in visual quality between brands. Looking at price, it is clear that Pentax has matched the quality, with some of the differences noted above, and exceeded the premium brands. Save some money and get a better binocular. I've found no negatives. Owned mine for two years. Lifetime warranty.
