Grab one of these while you still can!
by jimbob3805 ,Sep 21 '06
Pros: Awesome Sound Quality, Power Output, Looks Great, Easy to hook up, nice hidden wire connections. Cons: Can't think of any.
I just picked up one of these amps, and it's great. I wanted something that will run a single 12" sub that I have owned for about 10 years now. It's a 4 ohm single voice coil. There's only a couple amps on the market that'll give a decent amount of power at 4 ohms, this one and the JL 500/1. The JL was over double the price of the PG x600.1. I have it running a single 12" sub in a ported box, and it plays louder than I would have ever expected. It doesn't draw much power, and runs very cool. It has an internal fan but I have never heard it run, yet. 24 dB/octave crossovers, with "clickers" to set the frequencies exactly. Also has 40 hz bass boost and a highpass output RCA's. Nice secure power/speaker connectors with rubber covers over them. Very clean looking.
It's a 2005 model, but there's still a few new ones out there. Grab one while you still can!

WOW!! Great Amp, Mega Power, Great Sound Quality
by firebottle23 ,May 29 '04
Pros: great sound quality, Mega Power and reasonable price. Cons: nothing its a great amplifier.
You Wont be disapointed about this Amp. It has Enough power to to push 3 12's easily. I have it hooked up to 2 12" polk audio momo subs in a obcon sealed box. Those subs hit so clear and so loud. I don't think you can buy a better amp. You don't need a capacitor cap or a new battery, because it puts out such consistant power. and no matter what ohm load you have it at, it will put out a true 600 watts.
