Pros: Good voice quality, easy to use, speakerphone on handset Cons: A few user interface annoyances
This is my fourth cordless phone in as many years, and I think I finally have a keeper! This time, I was looking for a cordless with speakerphone on the handset, an integrated answering machine (since eVoice died!), and preferably wall-mountable....

Pros: Excellent intercom system; Nice styling; Clear display on the handsets; Speakerphone; Price Cons: Quality?; Lack of centralized caller ID; Speakerphone reception and location
This is an excellent cordless phone, but first and foremost, I must say that the deciding factor in our purchasing this phone was the information we received from user reviews about this and other phones on Epinions. So I would like to thank those users...

Pros: Clear reception, no phone jack required, handsfree feature, stylish Cons: Caller ID is text-display only
This is the 2002 model of the highly-rated VTech 2.4GHz Digital Spread Spectrum ("Gigaphone") expandable cordless series. It replaces both the VT2431 (reviewed extensively at epinions), incorporating some design improvements, and the stand-alone VT2464...

Pros: Inexpensive, full-duplex speakerphone in handsets, system works during power outage! Cons: Inconsistent reception, no central directory, can't name extensions, tiny "soft" button descriptions
I bought the Vtech system (base and three remotes) to replace a fragile and failing Siemens gigaset 2400 system. The Vtech system has a few nice features, but it is still plagued by some of the problems of the Siemens system and it lacks a few really...

Pros: Excellent Range
Mailbox Options
Headset available Cons: Caller ID (rarely) misses a phone number
I've got a VTech VT2461 2.4 w/Digital Answering Machine. There are 3 different "voicemail" boxes, just tell people to hit 1, 2, or 3, and each box has it's OWN password. Handy for roommates or if you have an ad in the paper. I bought it for $130 at ...

Pros: Clear reception a few feet farther than 900MHz phones. Cons: Unusable after 6 weeks, the replacement phone has the same problem.
The Replacement phone has the same problem as the first phone- the handset mutes the conversation after about 10 minutes use. A new battery came with the phone. Communications with the extra handset inside my metal shop 90 feet away is still good....

Pros: Excellent feature set. Well-made physical design and layout. Nice small handset. Cons: Sound quality very poor. Lots of static.
After reading the reviews on Epinions, I was very interested in this phone. I wanted a multi-handset phone with a built-in answering machine base.
We got the phone home and I read through the manual, connected it up, and started to work...

Pros: multiple handsets, crystal clear reception, 3 mailboxes, intercom Cons: no password protection on mailboxes, no dial pad on base
After trying and returning a Panasonic 2.4 Gig system, I thought I would give VTech a try. Bingo! I got it! This phone has a crystal clear reception, and a long battery life. Add in a slightly lower than average price and you have a nice phone setup with...

Pros: Acceptable range for the handsets. Cons: Answer Machine quite accepting messages and tech support was not able to fix the problem
I liked having more than one handset to place in other rooms that do not have access to a phone line. The range of the handsets was adequate to carry around while doing yard work. The receiver emits interference and I could hear it from my corded phone...

I purchased this product 8 months ago and was generally pleased with how it operated. However, yesterday the answering machine portion broke and when I called Vtech customer service I was informed that this tended to happen often with this model. I was...
