Better than ED, but some gotchas

Pros: Good color and contrast, HD at ED price.
Cons: Rectangular pixels give wrong aspect ratio.

I got the Planar PDP-42HD TV this evening. I hooked it up to my DVD player through the DVI input and was blown away by the quality of the picture. It sure beats the daylights out of traditional NTSC TVs. It does rescale everything to 1024 by 768 if ...
