Pros: Battery life, storage, load times, small. Cons: File system may confuse and annoy some.
Summary: This was an upgrade from my Creative 6GB Jukebox, which had appaulingly short battery life - 30 minutes? Please God no. So, with my warranty running out, I returned my Jukebox, and with the money I recieved in return (+£20 or so) I gladly walked home ... read more

Pros: Everything! How did I live with out it? Cons: Nothing except for the firmware that shiped wiht it. This was easily fixed.
Summary: I've had my Jukebox for about a year now and use it daily without ever having a problem. I have read quite a bit of negitivity here and other places, but have not experianced any of it. The 4 main gripes I see are 1) Poor quality of MP3's. That ... read more

Pros: Easy interface, good sound quality, massive storage. Cons: Wish I could search through a song, download times
Summary: Pretty much, the pros and cons speak for themselves. The Archos Jukebox Studio 20 MP3 Player was given to me as a birthday present. When I got it out of the box and hooked it into the computer, my operation system (Win2K) recognized it and went about ... read more

Pros: HUGE storage capacity, ability to recharge, not much else Cons: Stability, customer "support," speed of transfer, battery life, software, screen size
Summary: I have been meaning to write a review about this Archos player I received last year but never got around to it (I was too busy trying to make it work). When I first saw this unit, I fell in love. It was one of the first with a hard drive of its size a ... read more

Pros: Long battery life, massive storage, small size Cons: Crashes and freezes, display "blackout," no manual
Summary: 14 JAN 2004 UPDATE: A few days ago, and without any specific reason, I decided to backup everything that was on my Archos player. The very next day the thing crashed. Call it ESP. I tried to copy my files back onto it but it still said that space was ... read more

Pros: Small/High capacity(20GB).
Great sound quality. No drivers-PNP, maps as drive. USB2.
Cons: Poor stability playing MP3 (works perfect as HD). No search option. FM tuner sucks.
Summary: Let me start by saying this: It is not a perfect device; problems I have encountered suggest that the QA process is poor to say the least.
Now, after saying that, I must declare again that I am happy with the device. The advantages are too ... read more

Pros: really god space, good sound, easy uploading Cons: the sound... just buy new headphones but the headphones that came with it are fine!
Summary: I have over 35 cds on my Mp3 player and i am not 1/4 of the capacity size. This is a great product! GET IT! If you are looking for size it isnt the smallest mp3 but compared to a cd player it is really small. The mp3 player fits in a regular pocket and ... read more

Pros: Great for people who record from FM (i.e. talk show listeners) Cons: It likes to crash, but future firmware updates should cure that
Summary: I picked up this little gadget at Best Buy after reading about it in their paper. $250 (plus extended warranty - hey, never know when you'll destroy the thing), struck as a good deal, plus an external hard drive, which this can be used as, didn't sound ... read more

Pros: Features. Record from the FM tuner. Large capacity. Solid build. Doubles as USB 2.0 harddrive. Cons: Quirky firmware (occasionally crashes) Headphones stink.
Summary: ** UPDATE ** This mp3 player worked great for the first couple months, and with the open source rockbox firmware was quite nice, but it gradually had more and more problems and eventually stopped working. Avoid this player!!! Since the release, and ... read more

Pros: Quick and easy. Big 20GB drive. USB Cable included. Not held to proprietary software. Cons: Lifespan. Support. Headphones. Instructions for replacing batteries are unclear.

Pros: Storage Capacity, Drag and Drop Interface, Durability, USB Cons: Reliability, Carrying Case, Transfer Problems
Summary: Pros: To be honest I bought this product when it first came to stores. I was attracted most to the storage capacity of the player because I own a lot of CD's, and now they're all in one place, on the player. It's very convenient for storing not only ... read more

Pros: Price, Storage space, firmware support (via third party via www.rockbox.haxx.se) Cons: Small display, buffer memory, need a small amount of computer savvy to use
Summary: First things first, when you get the player unpack it and throw the head phones away. They are worthless but any other head phones work fine. I have had no complaints about the sound quality of this unit with standard headphones, I suspect that people ... read more
