Pros: It prints fast and produces some nice photo prints! Cons: The cost replacement for all six ink cartridges!
Summary: The Canon i950 photo printer prints a resolution as high as 4800 x 1200 dpi with a 3072-nozzle print head and droplets that are only two-picoliters in volume. This gives you a beautiful fast printing photo printer! Not only is it fast, the photos come ... read more

Pros: Refillable inks, good pictures Cons: Manual is useless. Canon support stinks. Printer will stop working for no good reason.
Summary: After having print head problems I used deep cleaning many times. Suddenly the machine started telling me that the waste ink tank is full AND THE PRINTER WON'T EVEN START. I cleaned out all the sponge absorbers (I don't think there is any tank) but ... read more

Pros: Outstanding prints, Quick photo printing, Quiet operation, Separate ink tanks Cons: Somewhat slow initial start-up, Slightly "plastic-y" paper guides/tray. BREAKS DOWN AFTER TWO YEARS.
Summary: I am rescinding the positive review written on this product several years ago. It worked well and prints looked great for less than three years of very light usage, then problems with the printer developed. Prints look awful now, and ... read more

Pros: Color accuracy (EXIF 2.2) and saturation, fast, quiet, separate ink tanks, borderless prints Cons: Software for prints could be a little easier to use.
Summary: I love this printer. I know everyone says it, but it is very fast and very quiet - let's face it you don't buy a photo printer if you're willing to wait a couple weeks for your photos to come in the mail. Borderless Printing Rocks I thought th ... read more

Pros: Fast, quality, full bleed photo output! Very friendly on the wallet. Cons: Slow printing on low resolution or text output, which I don't care about.
Summary: Well, I've been debating between this printer or the discontinued Olympus P400 Dye Sub. While at Fry's the other day, they had the Canon i950s for $229! This is basically the i950 with a 6-in-1 USB memory reader and a 12' USB cable. Needless to say, I ... read more

Pros: Fast Printing, High Quality Borderless Photo Prints & Mac OS X Compatible Cons: none
Summary: I searched high and low for a quality photo printer, I wanted to get the most "print" for my buck and I kept coming back to the i950. As a fan of the all-in-one machines from HP I had a hard time comitting to changing to a dedicated printer and another ... read more

Pros: The best quality as long as you use the right paper and software Cons: Without the right software and paper results are average at best.
Summary: If you read my review of the Alps 5000 printer then you know I loved it. The color, the tones, and those plusses were enough to overcome its many shortcomings in speed, cost, and noise level. Alas, my 5000 is now gone and Ive moved to the ... read more
