Summary: So you've gone into the computer superstore and hit the little print button which turns out a bright, colorful, non-banded photo print out of the little bugger. Wow you think, its like under $100 and this photo looks great! Stars fly from your eyes as ... read more

Pros: Good quality text printing. Cons: Will not print Black if Color ink isn't stocked.
Summary: Aside from the quick printing, I am totally disappointed in this printer. Like some of the other reviewers, I judge the Epson C82 relative to my previous printer. My previous printer was slow, ugly, and did not print picture quality. However, it would ... read more

Pros: After using for a year ... no Pros whatsoever Cons: The actual cost to use the C-82 printer is way to high!

Pros: Good print quality; separate ink tanks for each color; can be economical to use Cons: paper handler is a little noisy; print heads dry out if not used regularly
Summary: I was delighted with my Epson Stylus C82 for the first 10 months or so; delighted enough that I talked at least one other person into buying one. It produced prints quickly, with good resolution quality. I don't do much of any photo printing but for ... read more

Pros: Relatively fast printing speed when it actually prints and isn't clogged. Cons: Clogs. Needs constant charging. Almost as if it were designed to waste precious ink. Hmm.
Summary: Like most people I read all the reviews before I buy any piece of equipment but nothing I read prepared me for the problems I've had with this printer. From the get-go, I was a little horrified by the size of this thing. It sits pretty big on my side ... read more

Pros: good output, reasonably fast printer, set up was easy Cons: LOUD, falsely reports ink out, ink flow stops often
Summary: I replaced an Epson 740 with the Epson C82 early in 2003. Now in December, I can report that I have had frequent problems with the ink jet system. Unless you make prints a few times per week, the ink flow system will dry out and clog. The head cleaning ... read more

Pros: print quality, resolution, speed, noise printing, USB or parallel Cons: a little big, a bit noisy feeding paper
Summary: I'd been toying with the idea of a new printer for a while, and for some reason the Epson C82 appealed. I think I liked the look of the sample printouts in Best Buy. The price of $150, however, didn't. So I carried on with my old Lexmark which printed eve ... read more
