Pyle Red Elite PLA4180 Car Audio Amplifier

Cons: Not a true 1000 watt amp, weak hi end performance,

When looking for a new amp to replace one nicked from my car, I was considering another Jensen 680 when I came across this. Seemed fine, 12 watts RMS X 4, Mosfet, etc, but the factory literature actually list RMS at 35 watts. So this "1000 watt" amp is actually more of a 240 watt amp. When I replaced the Blaupounkt deck that got nicked as well, i could only afford 150 so i bought a Pioneer DEH2700. Unfortunately it only had 2 RCA outs, so i tried to run with the Hi end leads and while I got decent sound, i also got a bunch of alternator whine.
