The Samsung SM-332 Combo is an optical disk drive that combines CD-RW and DVD-ROM drives into one mechanism. Available in half-height form factor, the drive offers speeds ranging up to 32X Writing, 10X Rewriting, 40X CD Reading, and 12X DVD Reading. Able to solve all your optical needs, the SM-332 offers an EIDE/ATAPI interface for easy installation and a high capacity buffer memory of 8MB to ensure smooth reading of any DVD-ROM. The drive can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, and includes Samsung's DVA (Dynamic Vibration Absorber) to help reduce noise and vibration. The SM-332 includes Optical Pick-ups adopting Annular Mask Lens, and its soft MPEG decoder plays DVD-Video without an MPEG decoder board. The drive reads many disc types, including DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-Video, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA, CD-ROM/XA, Video-CD, Multisession Photo CD, Extra CD and CD Text. |
