Rockford Fosgate Power 1501BD Car Amp

Pros: Tons of power,Looks great,Sounds Great, Cheap
Cons: Power hungry cant run of of stock ALT

I got this amp just recently and it flat out bumps its a great amp. Iam pushing two AudioBahn 12inch Flame Q's and the amp that i had before it could bearly push them but now their louder than can be. This amp drives them soo hard that the sheet metal in certin areas of my car flexs to the point where you can hear it from the outside of the car. This is a great amp and i would pay more than i paid for mine. The only bad thing is i have to get a 2nd battery now to keep up with all the power that its using.

Pros: Excellent build qualtiy, extremely powerful, in-expensive, good looks, sound quality etc etc
Cons: because its BD amp, it creates a high pitched noise from the internals, not noticable

I've had this amp for just over 6 months now, and I'm very happy with it. I am comparing it to the audiobahn 1500hct which I had prior to the RF. It's hands down at least three times better. It has tons of power, rated at 1650 wattrms. Classic RF always underrating their products to what they actually are, unlike other companies. It never gets hot, 75% efficient, and the power consumption isn't too bad for the amount of power these things can put out. build quality is very good, looks amazing and sounds amazing too.

i'm looking to get another one to strap them together. I think it would be very difficult to find an amp of this quality for the amount of money. The other good thing is the higher the voltage the more power you get. its just perfect for a sub in my opinion
