What do you expect? its Rockford Fosgate!
by mtchgdn1 ,Jul 02 '04
Pros: Lots of power, with good sound reproduction. Cons: none
I'll start off saying that this is one of the best looking amps out there. RF really did a great job on the cosmetics of this thing. As for power, the p3002 delivers what I've come to expect from Rockford Fosgate LOTS OF IT! Especially for what you pay. The clarity of the sound reproduction is very crisp, I've heard lightning audio and sony's that are just terrible! Those cheaper amps were very sloppy. I listen to punk and metal and this thing delivers every time. It also comes with remote punch bass that you mount wherever is the most accessible for you. It's really nice because if you want more power you just turn the remote punch bass up a bit and your good. Takes away the trouble of having to go to the amp and turn up the gain every time you need more power. The connections for the power, ground, speakers, etc are a lot better than the older fosgate models. The connections can fit larger gauge wires now, which allows for the wire to fit into the slots without having to trim down the wire. It is a lot cleaner and more professional looking.
