Details:	The Samsung SM-348 Combo is an optical disk drive that combines CD-RW and DVD-ROM drives into one mechanism. Available in half-height form factor, the drive offers speeds ranging up to 48X Writing, 24X Rewriting, 48X CD Reading, and 16X DVD Reading. Able to solve all your optical needs, the SM-348 offers an EIDE/ATAPI interface for easy installation and a high capacity buffer memory of 8 MB to ensure smooth reading of any DVD-ROM. The drive can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, and includes Samsung's DVA (Dynamic Vibration Absorber) to help reduce noise and vibration. The SM-348 includes Optical Pick-ups adopting Annular Mask Lens, and its soft MPEG decoder plays DVD-Video without an MPEG decoder board. The drive reads many disk types, including DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-Video, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA, CD-ROM/XA, Video-CD, Multisession Photo CD, Extra CD and CD Text.
