Samsung SPP4251 Shuts Down

Pros: Great set for viewing regular format TV and DVD.
Cons: Only 2 months use and now this!

After 2 months of joy with this nice set the picture glitches one day and then shuts down after only 10 minutes of viewing the next day. After shutting down the blue power indicator light blinks 5 times then stays off for about 3 seconds. This sequence repeats but the set will not power back up even after unplugging and plugging back in after several minutes. The set has been in a virtually dust free temperature and humidity controlled room for the whole of it's working life. Could this be the end? Since it is the start of the weekend I have yet to see what Samsung customer support has to say about this.
