Pros: Easy to Use, Quality Scans, Built-in Transparency Adapter Cons: Included software can be clunky and awkward to use
A fairly decent introductory scanner, the HP 3570c does an adequate job with scanning quality, for both prints and transparencies. However, the included software could use some major tweaks. I had been looking to replace my old ...

Pros: Affordable and decent for printed material. Very pretty looking too! Cons: Slow and cumbersome, terrible software, awful slide and negative scans.
I was looking for a simple and easy to use scanner to finally replace my trusty old Phantom E3, and since I figured that I really didn't need the latest and most advanced gadgets available today, I was trying to find a good balance between price and...

Pros: Looks good, Scans Well, Easy to Use Interface Cons: Resizing Options and Resolution
For some appliances and computer accessories, I am a real simple person. Scanners are that way with me; if it scans and the picture the computer displays looks like the one I scanned, I am a happy camper. I should say, I used to be simple on scanners. ...

Pros: Great slide holder, bright slide lamp, nice hardware. Cons: Software from Hell.
Why can two reviews of the one and the same product be so different? Sure, one person can have a bad experience with a bad product, but my theory is that its most likely to do with the needs and expectations of the user.
So, let me start...

Pros: Sleek design. Great paperweight. Cons: Unreliable to scan. Software has too much cutesy stuff and not enough basic function.
Our office recently upgraded computers to Windows XP Pro and at the same time decided to get me a new scanner. An older HP scanjet which worked well was replaced with the Scanjet 4570c. I doubt if I will ever buy another HP scanner again. I basically need ...

Pros: Cheap price, works Cons: 3 month warranty, not very accurate
This unit cost $40 after rebates. Normal price appears to be $80-120. Setup was easy to do, I followed the instructions to load the software first then connect the USB cable. I also downloaded and installed the updated drivers, taking over an hour on ...

Pros: Included 35mm slide/negative adapter Cons: Horrible color rendition, software includes too few features.
I purchased this scanner because of the included 35mm slide/negative adapter. I plan on doing a lot of photography and figured it would save me money in the long run. After trying to scan several different scenes from several different rolls of film in...

Pros: didn't find one Cons: poor scan quality
I putchased the scanner because it is supposed to work with both Mac and Windows computers. It comes with a Mac X driver, which you can't find with many other scanners.
Unfortunately, I could never get the scanner to work with Windows...

Pros: Looks cool. Decent photo scans. Cons: Looks can be deceiving.
I don't know what HP was thinking, but this scanner has proven to be the biggest headache I've ever had to deal with. The preset buttons (which you can and probably will modify) are preset to do some really goofy things.
The scanning...

Pros: Good Quality Scans, Looks Cool Cons: Clunky Software, Lamp takes ages to warm up.
Got this scanner last night. Software and driver installed perfectly first time but due to other USB problems, had to re-install. Nightmare to re-install second time on XP professional. Call to HP support sorted it out. Very helpful.

Pros: Fast scan speed Cons: everything after the scan!
I have used and loved almost everything HP has put out - great printers, scanners & service. I bought the 3570c as a second scanner, keeping the "old" HP 6200c that is no longer made.(Too bad - it's a great scanner) This "new & improved" model takes a...

Great Scanner
by blueskies505 ,Nov 10 '04
Pros: Quick, Durable, Easy, Scans come out profesional looking. Cons: None so far, but remeber to always keep the CD handy, they dont have replacements.
The Scanjet 3570c is durable, fast, and easy. The installation was quick and effortless. I have to scan lots of pictures and it does each one perfectly. I would recommend this scanner for anyone. The price is right also. I brought this scanner in mid March of this year. and ever since it hasn't given me one problem. It has scanning. It send the pictures or documents to E-mail or it will send it to your printer to be printed. I only paid $30.00 for this scanner because i got it at circuit city out-of-box but normally it would be around $80.00
