Pros: Great screen! Port-Replicator really adds functionality. Great looks.
Cons: Machine gets rather warm. Biggest gripe is the battery life. 1.5 hours is very optimistic.
The specs on this machine are easy to find. It's a wonderful piece of equipment. I've had it for about 3 months, loaded tons of software on it and it has performed flawlessly. It's Super fast and easy to use. The key board has a great feel. Are there drawbacks, yes a few, but as a whole, it's a great computer.
I bought this machine because I love the DVD /- drive, the XP professional software/ the big screen and the SONY reputation.
