Pros: Easy to operate, good user interface, well known for its protection qualities Cons: Not very stable, very difficult to uninstall
I use the AV packages for about 4 months now on two PC's, both with W98 SE.

After installation a simple wizard guides you through the initial steps which assure that you start with a...

Norton anti-virus pop up ads
by wgmoore ,Oct 11 '03
Pros: Other than the distracting pop-ups, the software worked fine. Cons: POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP
I just hate them. I guess Norton feels they can pop up ads right over whatever you're working on because it's about their software. You're working on something and SLAM, up pops Norton's ad telling you their anti-virus is on the job.
I find these pop-ups so distracting and annoying I'm writing off what I spent on Norton anti-virus and replacing it.
