Pros: Beautiful graphics. Game play has good challenges and sequences.
Cons: Not as funny as Warcraft II or Starcraft.

Wonderful game play. Holding the mouse down on the character shows a moving action. Scroll the mouse scrollwheel and see a more 3D perspective. The humans are a righteous lot, but their hero is so easily corrupted.
The hideous orcs want to bash some heads, but their nobility shines through. The gruesome undead have new tricks that are somewhat amusing. I love how the undead can eat the carcasses to get more health points. It's interesting to see the cultural influences of Celtic lore compete with more modern phrases. The plot differences are similar to Starcraft, but more cohesive. The plot is way too serious to be believable. I could have benefited from more historical explanations of why orcs and humans hate each other.

Pros: Hours of orc crunching fun!
Cons: Races aren't balanced well, and certain creatures are way too powerful.

As a big Warcraft fan, I was excited when they finally released this version. The campaigns are interesting, the cinematics are wonderful! This is a game my husband and I play together online. The new races to play bring a much needed depth to the game that wasn't there before. This is definitley for those who love strategy that keeps you on your toes. It's very fast paced and the campaigns are fun so you don't find yourself playing random map games all the time if playing by yourself. If you're connected online, there's a wide level range of players to play with so you never feel like the only noob out there. On the downside though, there does seem to be some balance issues between races the races. When playing online with other people, it makes it difficult to experience the full dynamics of the game because there's a heavy leaning towards one class of one race.

Pros: Replayability does not get any better than this.
Cons: Cannot think of a single con.

This is a computer game that is extremely versitile. Set up a quick game vs. the computer, or get online and battle it out for hours at a time. The gameplay is very unique compared to any other game out there right now. Rather than controlling mindless armies such as in AOE, you can control mindless armies AND level up and develop a "hero".

Since I could write about volumes about this game I'll get right to the point. Playing the game in single player mode with the campaigns it worth it just by itself.

Getting on battle.net and playing random gamss vs. people all over is another plus.

I have had this game since it's release date and have yet to have gotten bored from it.

Sounds, graphics, gameplay are top notch. I would recommend having the system requirements that Blizzard suggests and push the graphics to their full potential.

If I had to choose only one game to play for the rest of my gaming days, WC3 would be my choice.

This is an awsome game. i am am a warcraft veteran. i like this one the best. it has the bet graphics, sound, and i think that hero concept is cool. Also i like the fact the the camera can rotate and zoom.

Takes all of the great elements of Warcraft II/Starcraft and goes further by adding additional races and heroes. The heroes really add a great dimension to the game since you need to spend time leveling them up (with experience earned through defeating enemies). Another great feature are the "creeps" or NPC monsters that are scattered throughout the map. All in all a great game!

Warcraft III:Reign of Chaos is pretty intensive on the defense and approaching offense. The opposing computer attacks almost immediately within 2-3 min. after the game has started. The name WARCRAFT fits perfectly for this type of strategy game. Basically, the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo series, all made by Blizzard Entertainment, are the same ideas with the same strategy instinct. I'm waiting almost impatiently for Starcraft: Ghost and Warcraft:The Frozen Throne to come out. I would recommend any of the games by Blizzard Entertainment to anyone that likes strategy games.

In summary, Warcraft III has improved in graphics and sound. I like the new races ( i.e. Undead and Elves) and the new quests, storyline, and the heroes of course. It has many new monsters, abilities, items and accesories. The 3-D graphics takes me to a breathtaking scene of the woods, the castle grounds, the village, etc. The new Zoom in/out option adds to the wonderful graphics.
