Pros: Ideal zoom range, excellent image quality & image stabilization. Perfect for the Eos 5D.
Cons: Only suggestion, build it from Titanium for lighter weight, it is a bit front heavy.

Pros: Sharp, excellent zoom range, constant f/4, stabilized, good value in kit form.
Cons: Distortion and vignetting at wide end, getting a bit dated, only f/4 maximum aperture.
