The Nikon Micro-Nikkor Camera Lens provides vibration reduction (VR) to macro photography along with high-resolution and high-optical performance, for digital and 35 mm film SLR formats. To stabilize images, the Micro-Nikkor AF-S ED G IF VR Lens enables handheld shooting at up to four shutter speeds slower than would otherwise be possible, for dramatically sharper still images and video capturing. The internal focus (IF) of the Nikon Micro-Nikkor Camera Lens provides faster, quieter focusing without the need to change the length of the lens, and can thereby retain a working distance from the subject through its focus range. This camera has a 105 mm f/2.8 lens with Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements that enhance the overall image quality by further reducing flare-ups and chromatic aberrations. This allows the Micro-Nikkor AF-S ED G IF VR Lens to have improved color, contrast, and clarity. Additionally, the Nikon Micro-Nikkor Camera Lens has a built-in M/A switch for instant switching between autofocus to manual focus modes, and an ultra-quiet silent wave motor (SWM) for AF. Along with having a 105 mm f/2.8 lens, the angle of view is 23 degrees with nine rounded diaphragm blades to make out-of-focus elements appear natural.
