The first commercially successful arcade game receives a futuristic facelift in Pong: The Next Level. The premise is simple: move your rectangular paddle to hit a ricocheting ball past your opponent. Each miss results in a point for the winning side. While the gameplay may be identical to the classic coin-op, the visuals, options, and playing fields have changed. In addition to 1972's black-and-white original, the Game Boy Color version adds three themed environments: ancient ruins, a sheet of ice, and a soccer field. Compete on all four variants to win the Pong tournament. Three difficulty settings allow you to adjust the computer's skill level during the matches.
