Cons: Poor quality speakers, especially after months. DVD players break. Poor instructions.
The Yamaha YHT-700 Home Entertainment System features a 5-disc DVD changer capable of playing DVD video and DVD audio, CDs, CD-R and RWs, and supports MP3 playback. The built-in digital AM/FM tuner on the Yamaha Home Theater System also features a 40-station preset tuner. The speakers of the 5.1-channel home cinema system feature a two-way bass reflex design and have been magnetically sealed to make sure the speakers do not distort images on television screens when placed too closely. The five satellite speakers that come with the 5.1-channel home cinema system each use 75 watts of power. The Yamaha Home Theater System subwoofer uses 70 watts of power and has an 8-inch spruce cone driver. There are several audio formats that can be produced by the Yamaha YHT-700 Home Entertainment System. These formats include Dolby Digital, Dolby ProLogic II, DTS Digital Surround, Dolby Digital Matrix 6.1, and more. Yamaha Home Theater System features five video inputs and two audio inputs. The cinema system also features four S-video inputs and one S-video output.
