Pros: Styling, Handling, Braking, and Cornering. Nothing better than driving on open road with top down!

For 2001, the Boxster is available in two models: Base and Boxster S. The base model now includes a cloth headliner, soft-touch covering on the integrated roll bars, LED interior orientation lights, and improved carpeting. New optional features for this year include the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) System, new design 17-inch wheels, and new exterior colors of Lapis Blue, Orient Red, Zanzibar Red, Seal Grey, and Meridian. Standard equipment on both models includes leather power seats, an AM/FM stereo with cassette, and alloy wheels. The Boxster S includes a 250-hp 3.2L flat-six engine along with sport-tuned suspension, larger 18-inch performance tires, a keyless entry remote system, and a six-speed manual transmission.
