Pros: great decor and feeling in the restaurant
Cons: very expensive food, weird menu choices
My husband and I accompanied another couple to the Rainforest Cafe located inside the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, Texas. We had been in the mall several times and thought it looked like a fun place to eat, so we decided to finally go....

Pros: Fun, Great atmosphere
Cons: pricey
We eat at the Rainforest Cafe when we go to Walt Disney World yearly. We look forward to this eating adventure, and an adventure it is.

The main theme of this restaurant is of course the Rainforest. When you enter, you first approach the...

RAINFOREST CAFE: IT'S A JUNGLE IN THERE

by braggio Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Apr 05 '00
Pros: Fun, great food, kids LOVE IT!
Cons: Disney version was very disappointing
My family has been to both the Rainforest Cafe at the Woodfield Mall in Chicago AND the one in Kissimmee at Disney. Though they are the same restaurant there are many differences between the two that I think warrants mention.

Firstly let me...

by MsHooterville Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jul 16 '00
Pros: Good food, loved the fish tanks
Cons: Pricey, noisy
When my daughter and I visited the Mall of America this weekend, we chose The Rainforest Cafe as the place to eat our main meal. She likes birds, and she was hoping to get a good view of a bird trainer who was getting some incredible Macaws and...

Poaching in the Rain Forest

by wingdman , Mar 16 '00
Pros: got to sit under a giant mushroom, listened to a nice rain storm, got to sit on an animal tush
Cons: over priced food, long long wait, too crowded, endured thick gift shop
A note to all you purists out there... I have NOT gone to the Rain Forest Cafe in Miami. So why the heck am I writing an Epinion on it? Simple, there isn't a Kansas City restaurant section yet, but I wanted to review the restaurant anyway.

So...

Pros: great food and atmosphere
Cons: prices
I had a $25 GC for the Rain Forest Cafe so we decided to check it out this weekend. I was in the one at WDW, but did not eat there.

I have to say it is a neat place, beautiful atmosphere, great special effects with the elephants and the...

Look out Hard Rock Cafe!

by qurt29 , Sep 19 '00
Pros: The atmosphere, the food, the service!
Cons: Can't think of one!
"A wild place to shop and eat" is their slogan, and it is really accurate! Last Sunday, my three girlfriends and I took our daughters on a Mother-Daughter outing to Nashville, TN. We had tickets for the Britney Spears concert (review plug...

Cute Names for Boring, Overpriced Dishes

by e-diva , Aug 11 '00
Pros: Interesting decor and animatronic shows.
Cons: High prices. Long waits. Average food. Average service.
I've been to the Rainforest Cafe in Tyson's Corner Mall in Northern Virginia several times. Each time, I marvel at the decor, the long waits, and how much the restaurant really doesn't appeal to me.

Atmosphere
The Rainforest Cafe...

Not worth the trouble

by ljrunner , Jul 10 '00
Pros: Good atmosphere
Cons: Bad food, high prices, poor service
I just recently ate at the rainforest cafe in Nashville TN. We had been trying to get in for weeks, every since it opened. We finally got a reservation and were seated at 9:30 pm.

1) The greeters/hostesses were horrible. There were a group...

The Rainforest Cafe is hit or miss

by legotech , Jul 03 '00
Pros: ummm...the saltwater fish tanks are pretty
Cons: inconsistent service and standards across the chain.
I've eaten at three different Rainforest Cafe locations, the two in Walt Disney World and the one in London England.

The ones in Walt Disney World are in Downtown Disney which is the shopping area and The Animal Kingdom, kind of a perfect fit...

A nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there

by Cate1956 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Apr 29 '00
Pros: Great fun, a change of pace, pleasant employees
Cons: A little on the expensive side...$53.00 for lunch for 5 (two kids meals)
Spring break is a time around Michigan that can be iffy when trying to predict the weather. Easter falling at the end of April this year was still no guarantee we would not find ourselves with either snow or sleet, making outside plans impossible to...

A True Dining Experience!

by hopelynn , Apr 16 '00
Pros: beautiful atmosphere, great food
Cons: slow service, high noise volume
This is so much more than a restaurant. The Rainforest Cafe looks like something you would find at Disneyland. The outside looks like a beautiful jungle, complete with animated animals and birds. There is an alligator that opens his mouth and roars,...

Prepare to wait....

by badmom , May 04 '00
Pros: unusual decor, good food
Cons: long wait, so-so service, kind of pricey for burgers
Every time we have tried to go to the Rainforest Cafe, we have had a minimum of 1/2 hour wait. There is one near us in the Grapevine Mills mall, and it IS a unique place. I can't think of anyplace outside of perhaps a restraunt in Disney where you will...
