Details: El Palenque distinguishes itself from other local Mexican restaurants by offering the food of El Salvador as well. In a warm, cozy atmosphere with soft lighting and the feeling of early evening about it, tables and booths are set for parties ranging from two to ten or more. Spanish is the most common language spoken here, and students from the neighboring Reed college often come by to practice their skills in this tongue.
