Details: Ice Cream Works's Brookline satellite is close to neighborhood restaurants, and it's a pleasant place to round off a meal with a fruity summer dessert -- a cone of peach ice cream, mango frozen yogurt, or melon sorbet. It's hard to believe, though, that a box of hand-dipped ice cream truffles, at nearly three dollars apiece, would be worth the splurge.
