Details: Authentic and simple, pleasant Neelam's stands out from the other restaurants vying for customers on this part of "the Ave." Be careful, though, because they believe you when you say you like hot food. A large buffet featuring a delicious assortment of house specialties is offered at lunch. The baigan bhartha (a roasted eggplant curry) is wonderful, as are the malai kofta (vegetarian "meatballs" with herbs, cheese, and a creamy sauce).
