Details: It used to be that the Marina was all-Italian. That's not so true now, but if you want to revisit that era, Parma, with its classic, traditional Italian fare, is just the place to go. The waiters are all very friendly, and some will even tell you they're "fresh off the boat." The linguini with clams is a favorite. If you're especially hungry, try osso buco or roasted chicken, when available.
