Details: Carlo Middione's upscale, classic Sicilian restaurant is beautifully decorated, with warm yellow walls, big comfortable chairs, and red-and-yellow striped floor lamps. And the food has hit its stride: entrees include tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, oven-roasted Chilean sea bass, succulent osso buco and stuffed roasted chicken breasts. The gooey "earthquake cake" ( a flourless chocolate cake) is for the fearless; but the refreshingly tart sorbets may be all you have room for.
