punk-7's Full Review: 007 Tomorrow Never Dies for PlayStation 1
"Do you honestly expect them to pay?" ahh, a famous Bond quote. I could've sworn it came directly from the mouths of so many critics. Do they honestly expect us to pay for this game? Do they expect us to shell out our hard-earned cash for this game? I sincerely hope they do not have such unrealistic expectations. If they do, they will be seriously disappointed.
This has to be the worst game in the way of controls I have ever played. The controls for Bond is stiff and seems as though they put five seconds of thought into this game. It is unoriginal, uninspiring, unconvincing, and under-developed. This game is only fun if you use cheats, and then only for an hour or so. It is also fairly easy. with a good sniper rifle or scope you can simply sail through the levels.
I would recommend this game for rental, but only for a few laughs.
Perhaps if they put a few more years into the making of this game, perhaps if they put a little more thought into what would make it fun and challenging, perhaps it could've been a good game. But it is too late.
"Do you honestly expect them to pay?"
No, Mr. Bond, I expect this game to die.
