There are many people on this earth whom I can truly admit to hating...
... my boss at Kinko's.
... my first college room mate.
... my last boyfriend. Egads he was a joke.
... my downstairs neighbor, Ed. He's a cow.
But there is no one I hate more in this world than Dr. Laura Schlessinger. I hate her like I hate no other. I despise having to listen to her talk show at work. But a few of the hard-core manic depressives insist on turning her show on. Every day it's the same thing.
... women shouldn't have kids out of wedlock.
... men should be good fathers.
... everyone should be religious.
... single parenthood is evil.
Yadda. Yadda. Yadda. Look. I made the fatal error of picking up this book of hers. I was at the local Barnes and Nobles. And there is was, laying on the 'new releases' table. So, I thought, "Oh what the hell. I need a good laugh". And what I read in this book "Ten Stupid Things Women Do To Mess Up Their Lives" made my pale and perfect skin crawl.
Dr. Laura. You're always so quick to preach to us about how we mess up our lives. But I don't see you as being very goody good. Who died and left you Goddess of Humanity? You should go away. You waste your time going on and on about what people SHOULD be doing, when what you should be doing is giving your time and energy to REAL causes. Go to a third world nation. Help the homeless. Feed the hungry. Give blood. Take care of the elderly. Become an advocate for women who have been victims of domestic abuse. You do none of the sort. You just sit in your happy little comfy studio chair, and flap your pretentious mouth.
And while you're readjusting your mis-directed life, do the world a favor, and clean up that pathetic woredrobe of yours. Don't you have one honest staff person who's not afraid to tell you that Izod went out with the 80's? Real women don't wear socks with their high heel shoes. And, check that lipstick chick pea. Bright flaming orange does not a good smile make.
Talk about 10 stupid things that women do to mess up their lives? I can count 10 major fashion mistakes you make, and I can't get past them long enough to rant about what else you do to mess up your life, and the lives of those around you.
And, did I mention you look like a bulldog in heat?
