Pros: Reliable, accurate, excellent pattern
Federal Gold Medal Match Target Loads - 12 Gauge
These cartridges are what I often use at the skeet range for shooting a round of skeet for a competition down at the gun club. They are a little expensive for everyday use but for competition grade loads they are first class.
Federal Gold Medal Match cartridges come in individual boxes of 25; and cases of 250 cartridges.
These cartridges are reloadable low brass paper case 12 gauge shotshells of competition grade with superior quality for all clay pigeon sports like skeet and trap. These target loads that also work well for upland bird hunting as is popular here in Georgia.
The cartridges, or shells as we typically call them; are 2 3/4" in length and loaded with 1 1/8 ounce of #8 shot, which is a typical target load. Also available in #9 shot if desired.
The shells are loaded with 3 drams equivalent of smokeless powder and achieve a muzzle velocity of 1200 feet per second. The shells are one piece paper and smooth for improved reliability and ease of reloading. The shot is hardened for tighter patterns and better clay breaking, even at handicap ranges.
Ammunition is getting more and more expensive these days so it pays to keep what you need on hand as the politicians are attempting to ban shooting sports all together. Once you have the guns and ammo they can't take it away but they can stop the sale of new guns and ammunition so get it while you can.
I recommend keeping about a case (ten boxes) of these excellent quality target cartridges on hand.
