Pros: Easy to learn and use. Built-in wireless and bigger screen than current MacBooks.
Cons: Outdated, a bit slower
The Bottom Line: Absolutely recommend a Mac over PCs. If need a cheap laptop with OK performance, this is a good option.

Computer is outdated now if looking for high performance laptop. Good for general internet surfing, e-mail, and word processing. If you are looking for a high performance laptop, I would go for a newer Mac (MacBookPro) not this. If you need a laptop for basic functioning, this one works fine. The screen on these laptops can be larger than current MacBooks on the market (up to 15" compared to 13"). Also, with the built in wireless card, the computer automatically finds and joins available networks, so long as they are not password protected. Windows PCs generally require you to constantly search and search for wireless networks and go through a whole set up with them. This laptop has a slower processor, less memory, and a smaller hard drive than current laptops. If you are looking for a cheap laptop to perform basic functions, this one is for you. If you are looking for a computer that can run several applications at one time and that is quick, I would keep on looking. I have had this laptop since 2004 and it has done me well through college. However, as my needs have changed I am looking for a computer that can perform better than this one (mainly one that is faster with more RAM and a larger hard drive). All Macs are very intuitive and easy to learn. I swear by Macs and will never buy a Windows based PC again. If you are not used to Mac's OS it will take a while to get used to, but after a while when you go to use Windows, you will despise Windows.
