Pros: Quality Accomodation. Sufficient Free Time. Informative Tour Guide.
Cons: No Adventure/action included. Some ordinary stopovers/breaks. No nightlife.
The Bottom Line: Not for Under 35s. Mild thumbs up. Tour would defintely suit someone without the energy/ability to get out and about. Tour group just didn't quite match our profile.

| chadsteve1975's Full Review: Cosmos |
The tour my brother and I went on was a small 7 day tour of NE USA. Cosmos is associated with Globus Tours. Tour has no age guide and hence is dominated by older tourists. Hence being younger I was disappointed by some of the optional activities and stopovers.
Cities Visited: New York, Niagara Falls, Lancaster, Washington and Philly
Hotel quality was great throughout. No meals are included which is good as it left opportunity to explore.
Intinery:
Day 1: Meet the group in the afternoon. First night is unstructured leaving you to roam around NY.
Day 2: Long drive to Niagara. The stopover is at Corning, home of the Dow Corning glass factory. Informative but somewhat boring for someone wanting to use up energy after a bus ride. Hotel was close to the falls. I recommend that you take the short stroll to see the falls at night. Tour has no nightlife which was expected considering the age group was mainly 45-70.
Day 3: Tour planners know their stuff. Tour had great timing by visited the falls early in the morning before many tourists arrive. Tour of area included a short drive to quaint village of Niagara on the Lake. We found a fantastic little public bar just behind the tourist infected main street. Tour had some pathetic stops aimed at older tourists including a flower display, and a stop where we were all herded through a homemade goods store.
Day 4: Tour left Niagara for Lancaster. It is on these drives the tour guide important. Our tour guide provided fantastic historical background of countryside and region. Hotel at Lancaster was located near nowhere leaving little opportunity after the bus trip but this did not concern most of the other group members who were unable to keep up with the younger tour group members.
Day 5: Tour divides people on the Lancaster stopover. I felt like I had treated the 'Amish people' like freaks by chasing down in the bus. Glazing over that fact this part of tour is insightful. Would have been just as good had tour done a Civil War stopover instead. Tour arrives in Washington to visit museums. Optional night illuminations tour is worthwhile.
Day 6: Tour drives around famous sites before leaving group to their own devices.
Day 7: Back to NY via Philly. Philly is a great stopover. Again tour guide comes into their own element when talking about history. Tour ends on arrival in NY.
