Pros: Great customer service, very good tour guide.
Cons: Expensive compare to other companies
The Bottom Line: I would recommend Go Ahead Vacations to any one with a budget on mind and great expectations.

We all know that there is thousands of tour companies out there. I looked at Go Ahead Vacations because they sent me a brochure and their destinations and prices appeared very good.
Rapidly I called them and decided to book Turkey Adventure, a 19 days tour of that middle east country for $1600. You can beat that price. Once I called, the complete booking took less than 15 minutes, it can even be done in the internet.
This was on July 2000 when I reserved the tour. Then we all know what happened on September 11th. My tour was on November of that year, and obviously I was concern to travel and go into a Middle East country. I rapidly called Go Ahead and asked them a few questions. Unfortunately if I canceled the tour, they would charge me a fee, so I was not very happy about that. Any ways, I asked and the operator told me that out of a possible 45 people in the tour, 33 were still going and she told me that it was safe to go to Turkey since they have offices in that country monitoring the situation. So she convinced me and I went. I was wonderful. I am glad I follow her advise. The tour guide was extremely knowladge of the subject and every temple or site we visited. He was with us all the time, making sure we were safe.
The only two complaints that I have is that some other companies have a better price, however since I have not taken a tour with those companies yet, I do not know if they quality is as good as Go Ahead's. The other one is that the travel agent took us to every store he could make a comission out of what we bought. There was never an obligation to buy, but we noticed that if we bought a rug at his store of choice, it would be more expensive than some where else.
