I have a 1986 Honda Rebel 450 in excellent shape. Has custom paint job, custom fringe to match, saddle bags, windshield, etc. I am wanting to sell if your intersted, I can e-mail you pics. Only 17,000 miles on it. I am a woman & I purchased it from a woman, if that means anything :)

I miss my Rebel (Reply to this comment)
by deb56
I owned a 1986 Rebel 450 and I miss it so much. I would like to replace it. It was metallic silver and had a high back padded sissy bar. Like an "idiot" I sold it and my sports car, when I purchased a home and thought I needed "adult" transportation. Funny, but I don't miss the sports car as much as I miss that bike. I am a woman, but many of the men that I worked with at the time envied that bike, and it was a man that bought it from me. If anyone knows where I can find another one, I would love to buy it. I don't want a new one, because I don't want the 250. I want the 450 which, unfortunately, was a two year wonder.

not everybody needs a big bike (Reply to this comment)

While the Rebel is indeed a super bike for beginners, I also think it is a good all around bike for people who have no need for a big bike. I bought my Rebel new in 2006 and have no intention of selling it ever. It is perfect for mounting on the back of my motorhome for camping trips and it is all I need to tool around town and ride to work. And it gets 80 mph. And I have no trouble keeping up with my buddies on their Harlys.
