Pros: Honda quality and depenability
Cons: Weak engine, VTEC is useless
Sure, you can get yourself a nice, little Acura Integra, but you will be in for a shock. The 170hp GS-R engine is a joke. This Honda famed "VTEC" is almost nothing but hot air.
VTEC only activates at higher RPMs, which gives the engine a nice kick in power. You really do feel it moving when you are nearing red-line, but otherwise, its a dud off the line. If you plan to win alot of stoplight races, this isnt a car to pick.
The build quality is superior. Honda always has a great job in this department. Reliability, its assured.
For 19,000$, I would personally get myself a Mustang/Camero. These puppies got alot more power off the line, even in their V6 forms. The Acura gets about 25 mpg, pretty darn low for a 4-cylinder engine. Another disapointment there.
Its not the best bang for your buck, but if you desire reliable, well built transportation, with the occasional knack for speed, here it is.
