It's very rare that a artist of this magnitude comes along to take a musical artform back to its natural origins and this is exactly what he's done with this MASTERPIECE. I recently had the opportunity to see him perform live at the Essence Music Festival ironically Jill Scott was performing at the same time and I stuck around to see him because I knew I was about to bear witness to something truly special. Almost like seeing Prince in his very early years. This GIFTED young talent can do it all from sing to songwrite to produce to perform live. No favorites every song is extremely well written and produced. What makes this LP so GROUNDBREAKING is his vision of R&B music, his style and his sound is all his own. One listen and you'll say this is Undoubtedly The Best R&B Album Of The Year. You can tell he has studied his musical history. I believe Bilal is about to change the way R&B music is done. A Modern Classic....Pick it up...
