Well...They fixed my problem with the Fuel Injection on my 2000 Buell S3T! However, I had to call the Factory in East Troy, and Customer Relations to get anyone to listen to me. The Dealer was absolutely NO help here. They (Buell) really need to evaluate their Dealers knowledge of their product and their Dealers service levels.

Anyway, it comes down to this: If you had an aftermarket Muffler put on your bike (and who doesn't), this changes the temperature hitting the sensor inside the exhaust system, that feeds info directly back to your
"ECM" module. The bike will run too lean under heavy acceleration, and it will stall out (hesitates, power flattens out). The Dealers KNOW this but do not volunteer this info to you. You have to beg the info from them.
Here's the FIX: You need to have the higher performance "ECM" module and the wider air cleaner filter installed. Both parts are from the Buell RACING KIT! The Dealer WILL sell you these parts from the kit (kit also is packaged with a racing header and muffler...you don't need these) but you have to demand them. Once these two parts are installed, hang onto your handle bars...the bike takes off like something bit in the behind!
